Please do not worry regarding yellow tint, You need to wait for latest update rather to try any ROM.Are you trying to udate through direct WIFI or through KIES.? If you really want 2.3.5 then it is possible because on next month i will visit Chinnae , SORRY for worng spell.

I could understand ... moreTook me a while to learn all these acronyms its not something you can grasp overnight.I still cant remember all of them and what they do..THe big trouble i think from your post is you did not know what a ROM is which is very,very basic computing..I am glad someone answered you tho because i thought long and hard on how to answer your question in easy terminology..
Keep studying tho and you will eventually be using these terms like reading a newspaper.If you are going to start flashing ROMS then read,read and read again until you are 100% sure you know what you sre doing..
I think its great fun achieving your first ROM flash but had some scares especially with sgs1 but that was almost impossible to brick...Argh BRICK ,another term,this means your fone has died during some kind of interference with it..

I have a 32Gb white one.
It is my first experience on samsung ( after 3 HTCs ) and I am very happy with this beast...
But, can anyone tell me, how can I fond the NFC..???
I was in a fair, they shows me Nokia phones with NFC and I saw the practice of it.
How can I find out that, does my device have the NFC support or not?

Here in India the latest one is the same old 2.3.3 and if I download a custom one, then my warranty will be lost.
So i keep worrying about the Yellow tint issue. :/

Tha... moreBeing a happy owner of SGS2 i hereby confirm that yellow shade issue on left side of the screen can now solved with latest updates, Previously it was claimed by many sgs2 owners that this manufacturing fault can not be revomed through any update or software. I live in Pakistan and had 2.3.3 version, Today i updated through kies and got latest 2.3.5, Now i felt many improvements including any previous screen issues.So that it has approved that yellow shade is not permanent problem.

it was on iphone format, and I hated it for that reason, got it on andriod now, and is far better.
not sure what advantage the paid version will give you?, as the tiral one seems quite good too

1. XXKI4, it is a firmware identification code unique to samsung smartphones/mobile phones. It should change code for each update done.
2. ROM, Software for the phone/ or Operating systems
3. Flashing, are activities that involves changing/upgrading/downgrading a phone's OS.
4 Kernel, is the building blocks for every os. without it they are useless. Android uses Linux kernel, iOS uses Unix kernel, and Windows uses their own kernel
