I've heard a few fixes about ... moreYellowish patch on the screen is a manufacturing fault. That can't be removed with any software. But yes, by using some apps like Screen Adjuster or a modified MDNIE settings in some kernels will help to reduce(just in eyes) it somewhat level.
Please give your time for reading articles and topics in XDA.
This place is full of plastic and misleading information.

About the Yellow tint issue?
I've heard a few fixes about it.
1) Natural - its caused by glue drying. It should disappear in time.
2) Update to GB OS 2.3.4 or higher.
3) Some Kernal and KI4 (Which I didn't get at all).

Guys.... I updated ma phone to OS 2.3.5 via Odin... Lyk to say it works so smoothly.... And the battery life problem it totally gone. It like doubled.... nw its awsome.............

Otherwise I'll agree with you. The device does look and feel cheap, especially when its considered as a premium Droid one.

If you update via Odin, Maybe. Sometimes Odin gives problem after flashing, in that case you might have to Wipe the device. Still Titanium Backup is there to take backup.

apple 'o' holic, 19 Nov 2011well its like this phone is very good. and the technical sp... moreYes but with HTC brings poor microphone,tinny speakers and choppy video recording..HTC have had poor components and the sensation drops into this unibody and uses contacts for its aerials which is bad news.This is the superfone but NOT putting Ice CREAM SANDWHICH ON IT IF IT DOES TO IT LIKE nEXUS PRIME..It has done somethings which i dont like.
Sgs2 is the superfone to beat..

well its like this phone is very good. and the technical specs of the device are awesome. but the one thing for me that seriously lets it down is the build quality. it has all the build quality of £10 pay you go phone. cheap naff plasticky back that breaks after a couple of times taking off. feels cheap. now the HTC sensation is a better buy. with its metal unibody contruction. and looks its the better one out of the dual core bunch. obviously not including the iphone 4s.
