PowerAmp apps is better but it is only a trial version and if you want the full version, you need to purchase. It's worth anyhow.

Just had a reply on the post saying to get a bluetooth headset for music pleasure, which to be fair, i never even thought about! I will look into those apps you have mentioned in your post and let you know how i get on. I donwloaded the RAC app last night which was a joy. Along with ChatON and Vlingo. So far i have not had the FULL pleasure of the phone due to work, but this weekend i will be doing an extensive in depth review on it......but so far........its the BEST phone i can think of, and come Sunday, my opinion will not have changed im sure!

I do and I'm enjoying it even when watching video streaming on SGS2 the best phone of the year!

AnonD-10458, 19 Oct 2011Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II Main disadvantages * All-plas... moreyeah but these are minor problems that dont make much difference. except the battery. which again in every smartphone the battery is more or less the same. i dont have any heating problem. hot swap memory card isnt actually required is it. who changes their card every now n then. n many including me dont feel the need for a dedicated camera key. just unlock the fone n switch on ur camera. hardly takes a second. ya its difficult to click a picture when ur holding it one hand because of the slim body. like its ifficult to click ur own snaps. thats it. but no major disadvantages.

Not downloaded most of thos apps you have ment... moreHi mate, glad you enjoying this, as this phone is a pure pleasure to hold and play.
don't worry about the Jack, I think it could be a jack itself, don't use it till you repleace it with another one, but do that quick while your 14 days full replacement is lasting.
Regarding case, I can only think about 1 at the moment which truly gives this phone a nice feel to hold BUT it does not protect the bottom or top of the phone, but hug the phone like a gloves.

also try Beautiful (weather apps) its a paid one but its great and cost only about £2

I have tried a couple of headsets on it and i only get sound in the left ear, if i play around with the connector to the 3.5mm headphone jack, i get sound in both so it could be a fault. Will try and get new headset first though. Yeh i downloaded Vlingo which was cool, not really had time to play with the SGS2 with work and all that, but its happily sat on my desk as we speak. By the way, what is ChatON? I downloaded it last night and i presume its the iPhone/Blackberry equivalent for IM?

SGS2 Fans, my 3.5mm headphone jack only lets me hear through ONE of my earpeaces on every headphone set. Is this normal or should i hear sound in both?? Also, downloaded some apps last night like RAC and Vlingo. Good bits of kit. The speed in which they downloaded was beyond me, all at the same time.
