Morning all. I have just ordered this phone and it comes tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it. Can people give me an idea as to what to expect? I have seen raving reviews and thats it batters the iPhone. Its supposed to be the best phone on the market, great camera, fast processor etc etc. Is this all true? If it is, i bloody cant wait!!!

Hi everyone
I would really appreciate if you can kindly check this on your phone!
I got this phone 3 days ago, BRAND NEW IN THE SEALED BOX
bacically during the call, if you press the the MEMO button (on the left key) it gets you to the memo, but on my phone, I am getting a GREEN narrow SHADOW BAND appear on top of my screen!!!! (where logo for antena baterry, etc is)
this band coveres from right to left of screen, and it doesn't look healthy to me at all.
could you please check this and tell me if you have the same green band on the top when you go to memo during the call?
you can check by even calling any number, (your voicemail would be good option) then select Memo from the left button,
do you see this green band?

I9100 owners.. without any application that enhances battery life, how long does the battery last in this phone ? might get this phone next week ... thanks

One of the important updates with 2.3.4 is that the recorded sound in the clips is already 44.100 kHz,with 2.3.3 was 16.000 kHz. Now I can record clips in the disco or at very noisy places and the sound is very clear.

im in the uk got this on contract with t mobile 900min unlimited texts and unlimited internet data for 35 quid and the phone is sik widgets are good on it aswell does about anythink dis is defo better then the iphone4s dat got released this week

A genuine and a real difference I found between galaxy S and Galaxy S II is the screen clarity.
Super Amoled is the best that can be seen over mobile screen. AMOLED PLUS simply sucks. its darker and does not feels like so good, seems like with Galaxy SII samsung tried to enhance the beauty of AMOLED screen but they overmake up it.
Galaxy S i9000 is the best phone in market.
Fully loaded with all features and screen clarity. I know the difference coz I owe both phones. I highly recommend Galaxy S i9000 over galaxy SII.

using SGS2 since it launched.....till the date.....i have 256apps on my galaxy s2,pretty well organised....dual core manages apps very smartly....no lag....no slow down....still 300mb ram free at full monty.....camera awesome.....just the battery is drying out of juice!.....
but that doesn matter.....if u ride 1000cc bike u wont get average.....but you will surely get some sereous permormance.....same with galaxy s2!
iphone surely gonna kill SGS2....but dnt worry apple GalaxyS3 is coming next year!
