Apple Number 1??? HAHA! I really dont think so. To be fair over the past year i did actually think the announcement yesterday was going to blow the SGS2 away. But how wrong could i have been. Its larger (In terms of width) and slower then the S2. I dont know why that guy from Apple yesterday was saying " This is the slimmest and best smartphone out there".......errrrrr newsflash buddy.....it WAS a few years back........NOT ANYMORE!

I am a user of Sony (Last phone was ExperiaX10i) but this time inspite of Sony Arc( Last month Sep'10 )I purchased this phone but my experience of this phone is bad. Inpite of very good tech. it will take lot of time to download the things, while charging the battery heats up. Samsung application are not very supportive. backup time is also not good as mentioned.
With in a month i would like to sale this. worthless value for money.

I recently purchased SGS2, p... moreHi There... It has been seen that some SGS2 have that yellow tint on the screen. It may not be normal for Super AMOLED + to have this tinge. However, some users have reported this problem and by large this is visible when the brightness is at the lowest.
It may get resolved with future Firmware upgrades or it may even be a manufacturing defect. Reasons are still unknown. But the yellow tint should not bother you much if viewed in normal conditions.
I tried searching an application for changing the temp of the screen, but in vain.

MOSES, 05 Oct 2011Do you know any website to download movie for free from your s2get adownloader from the market. its a torrent downloader that you can just search for whatever movie or series you want. works best downloading via wifi for a fast download then watch at your convenience. i get speeds at work up to 500kbps so a movie takes only 20mins or so

Don't you have PC to download movies?
You will just make your SGS2 suffer by downloading movies. It will take time because movies have big bytes and will surely drain the phone's battery before downloading is completed without even being able to watch it.
Instead of downloading movie files, just watch it online. You will not keep the movie files in your phone forever, would you?
Why do you want to make things complicated when there is a better way?

AnonD-17714, 04 Oct 2011hi friends i am going to have this delivered to my home tom... moreto have a better battery life of your upcoming powerful phone here's some of my tips on you.
1. Once you get ur phone use your phone immediately without charging yet till the battery meter comes to 0.
2. then charge it overnight approximately 12 hours, then use again till the battery is empty again & charge again overnight. Then after those process you can use phone as per normal now.
3. install these apps " advanced task killer " and juice defender on the android market as they are free anyway.
4. on the display setting, set the BACKGROUND EFFECT to MOVIE & lessen your screen brightness.
5. on the setting ACCOUNT AND SYNC dont tick the tab BACKGROUND DATA if you are using it, just tick it if you are sycncronising something, & after that untick that tab again. Hope these tips be a big help to you.
