I bought one and loving it. the screen is amazing performance kicks ass just cannot make this thing lag, games are awesome and 1080p video recording and playback is awesome. android is very powerful and you can theme it so it looks bloody amazing. camera is very good. best phone ... until something better comes along.

I have not t... moreYes, coz I signed up in vodafone sydney australia for 2 yrs & on my plan it includes 2 yrs of use of navigon for free & after 2 yrs they give you a cheap deal to continue using it, on using navigon theres an option there to turn off d internet & still works, dunno if this option is available in other country, just give it a go, & hope it works for you without any affect on ur internet data.

Mine is paired w/ 2 bluetooth keyboards (a iGO Slim Stowaway keyboard and a new Logitech Android 3.0+ keyboard.) Both have issues with the S II and only the S II. It would repeat keys and sometimes repeat still even after i shut off the keyboard. Another issue is when I hold SHIFT to capitalize the first letter of a word, the following words also appear in caps after I let go of SHIFT. W7 PC & HTC Wing tested ok. Samsung USA is NOT WILLING or CANNOT help with this issue even though it is their company's flagship phone. Told me to contact Samsung UK by phone.

I have not t... moreYes, coz im living in sydney australia & I signed forvodafone network for 24 months contract & that iincludes 2 yrs of free use navigon & after 2 yrs you can negotiate with them for a cheap deal, on using navigon gps theres an option there to turn off the internet and still works well thisfunction coz it relies this phone through sattelite outside. Dunno if this option in oz applies on other country, just give it a try it might work to ur location.

Unbeliveable, I also saw the galaxy s2 on www.ausuk.c... moreI did chat with the guys on that website.. www.ausuk.com they said that ALL their products were ORIGINAL and GENUINE and FACTORY SEALED. They claim that they buy directly from manufactures and sell, hence their prices are cheapest. But what I am skeptical about is that they do not accept PAYPAL below US$2000 and if you wish to pay through paypal for any order less than that value, you need to pay additional 30% of the price.
This is a little absurd and left me lurking if the seller is genuine or a fraud.
You never know. CHINA is famous for making clones. You may land up with a PERFECTLY cloned S2. Quality wise and asthetically it may appear genuine, but may not be.
Well, I am not concluding, but their products could be original as well. Infact later, I could find a lot of such websites selling many branded products at a much cheaper price, and all were from CHINA.
What I am worried about is, if I have to buy from them and use my credit card, there is no way I can retract the money if the product does not reach me or is fake. Using paypal, gives me an assurance of money back.

awesome cell phone! i am very proud to hav it, in Cambodia the price of SGSII unlock 550$. never regret after buying this monster.

Perfect and best phone created ever, superior Camera quality, faster responsitive screen and impressive network abilities.
If you face problems with battery then i can give a few suggestions:
1- Root it then Reduce CPU frequency to 800 mhz it will give you at least 1-2 hour extra.
2- Reduce backlit level to 80 which is almost enough for bright/mid-bright day light it will give you atleast 1 hour extra battery life.
3- Try to use external speakers or headset which gives you also extra hour(s) while listening music or watching videos.
4- Turn of GPS and internet connection if you don't use.
You will not lose performace because it's dualcore and Android 2.3 can handle multithreading. ( Thanks to linux kernel )
Everyphones in markt suffers from battery life, even iphone.
So there is no reason to blame Samsung about battery life.
1650 mAH is good enough for a 4.3 inch dual core monster.

Here we go, i use this fone as my gps as this phone already got pre installed navigation system for free, it has a voice turn by turn guidance and its very accurate to take you to your desire destination and no need to use internet connection by using this one so it doesnt touch my internet data usage.. i do internet banking here, paying bills through this fone its so comfy doing this mate everywhere i am, video calls is cystal clear, i used music player to entertain myself, checking all my emails here and replying all of them from here, and so many more, i might have filled up this whole screen of my pc if i mention all of them. Now you have tell me that i've nothing to mention about the usefulness of this phone aha ha.

I bought mine S2 two mths back with phonline and data plan for 24 mths paid 450. Now another company offer same plan with the phone selling at 340. unlike iphone..almost end of line product still asking 500.

Unbeliveable, I also saw the galaxy s2 on www.ausuk.com they are selling it in $ 350 in indian currency it comes to almost 17500k i bought the phone in 29500 k so u can see the diffrence and it is almost half the price in which i bought it i wondered how it can be so cheap on this website i did some search on google in one of the blogs i saw that this site was redflaged ,but i still not sure about the authensity of the web when u surf the website it looks like a regular electronics selling website,i guess gsmarena deleted yogeshs post cause it may be spam.and u see he is also not responding to the replyes.and if it is real i think i will buy lots of gs2 and sell it in 20,000k or may be in 23000k or 24000k and will become rich and everyone is wellcome for partnership to become rich. What say guys.
