Will you give the details of which reliable source and how did you know that the 1.2 GHz processor major parts is used up in running the Android OS?
Can you list the apps from other units and let's see which apps are useless.
It is not only the camera that makes the price of the unit expensive. The camera of this unit is better than others that have the same 8MP.
I have been using it for two months but nothing happen to the display as what you have said in a few weeks use.

With this phone almst 2 mths so far very happy. Just updated firmware and the net surfing speed increased dramatically and feel that the battery life is a bit better. I not using the GPS but like to use google map. The map browsing spped is amazingly fast. I still charge this phone every nigh. Before I charging it I will purposely drain the bettery to end by watching movie or playing games. Not serious heat issue and no sound issue. I using the phone without any screen protector and the screen resolution and color are wonderful to look at.

Know this smartphone first b4 u post non sense post.

hey ppl one of my friends has a sgs 2 and it looks nice and all, but go and do your self a favour. Compare the Nokia N8 with the SGS 2 then you will see the N8 is an older phone but it's still a better phone. I prefer the N8 because i have one and i havent had any problems with it.

No use buying this phone.
1st, the phone offers a 1.2 ghz processor, a major part of which is used up in running the android os, keeping only a little for the apps.
2nd, most of the apps, except social networkers and browsers are useless.
So, the phone is only left for calls, texts and camera.
3rd, the camera is good, but phones at lesser price offer a much better camera.
The phone is only useful for calls and texts.
4. The display may be good, but it gets destroyed after a few weeks use.
So.. This phone is crap..

of all my workmates and my friends, its crystal clear, clearer than i expected and the video quality is excellent especially if you set it up to full hd ( 1920x 1080 ) recording you don't need to bring video cam & a digital camera, this gadget is a multi purpose, you dont need to bring digital camera, video recorder and an mp3 coz this gadget got all of the above i've mention.
Maybe you didn't set it up this super smartphone to proper settings, with the camera try to edit the setting through some shortcuts till you get 8mp quality same as the video, the music player is superp, i just customized my setting on the equalizer and it really gave me an extra kicks that im desiring for and it really LOUD.
Heaps of my friends told me that they're just waiting for their contract of their iphone 4g & they gonna get this unbeliavable phone. if you already tried everything to make everything in a proper setting and still the result is the same, i think your phone might be faulty and you should bring it back to where you got it, for sure there's still a warranty on it.

Download and install Poweramp and EQualizer for better music listening. Use Opera mini mobile for browsing the net, it is also available in the Android market. Install GO SMS Pro for tones personalisations.
You need to explore your phone before complaining.

For the voice command to work, you need to be connected to the internet because it is using your Google account to work.
Useless voice command if you are not connected to the net.

The camera needs to be set to your prefered display and I set it just according to my taste and it's excellent!
Maybe you play a songs of low quality that's why the volume is also low. Volume is loud and crisp when playing MP3 songs of high quality and radio streaming.
You just need to open your mind or else go with the low end phone, they're simplier to explore. LOL!
