Aftr owning my beloved s2 for 3yrs,i thought it wud b a adding a jewel to its crown, by giving a in depth review.
Again I'm just sharing my experience with my Galaxy s2.
I bought it at 2011 at the launch day itself in chennai alwarpet, univercell showroom.
Tat was my 1st smart phone.
Really I was like flying, gorgeous screen and awesome camera made my day tat days. As I told tat i didnt a smartphone b4 tat. I don't knw wat to do with it.
Just started Xpecting the in nd out of Galaxy s2 and Android market(now play store)
Installed various apps and games.
But aftr months of xploration I just figured out tat mobile is not for gaming.
Tat's a feature in s2.tats all. V no need to use all the time.
Installed the most usefull apps and deleted everything. I was really having a good time with my s2 with occasional hiccups and low battery life.
Aftr 7mobths I rooted my mobile just for untying the full power is s2.
So guys, if u really wanna see the performance of Galaxy s2,just root it. U can do more things with root.
My battery life got improved. Uninstall all Sammy apps. Phone bcame faster than ever.
Installed custom roms.. Wow.
The developer community has more love for s2 including now.
More and more features got ported to s2.
Really tis a all in mobile.
Aftr 3 yrs of heavy usage..... It really shines thru it's time.
Still rock as solid.
Mu only concern regarding s2 is battery life.
I'm using Sammy extended battery which gives 3000mah roughly.
So. My problem is sum wat solved.
As of writing tis review I hav installed 94apps and 5games in s2.
Still it's fast and no kind of lag.
Hats off samsung for delivering such a wonderful product and hats off xda development for making s2 work on all flavors of Android.
Now I'm running in android kitkat 4.4.

The moment I upgrade to ice cream 4.0.3, my phone stopped locking. I mean the security function as good as dead. can any one help?

in my samsung galaxy s2 as soon as i start 3g network it stops working like no incoming and outgoing calls but it work nice with 2g network. can u help?

bored with ... moreI doubt it. Android 4.1.2 will most likely be the last update for the Galaxy S2 from Samsung.
It's not like there is anything wrong with that. 4.2.2 update wouldn't change a thing on the S2, it'll look and work all the same, just a different version number in Settings > About.
We're all lucky that the S2 got the 4.1.2 update; and now it's up to date with the latest TouchWiz interface - similar to the Galaxy S3.

bored with this update. first samsung said that s2 will get update 4.2.2 and now they are saying no update after this...

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2013the video of my galaxy s2is not working?..what should i do ... moreif your have problem with your video, back to set restored setting, if don't finised your problem you can flashed your phone with official rom. go to googling if you don't know what are you doing with it. i hope can help you bro. sorry for bla bla im from indonesia.
