AnonD-108102, 03 Dec 2013Android 4.4 KitKat runs very smooth,extreme speed,good batt... morei don't know why do you all like custom rom!!!! i love stock rom n i just installed custom kernel for my sgs2, everything working fine like browsing, playing hd games n all running very faster n smooth n no lag or bug on my phone with stock 4.1.2 + speedmod kernel. stock vs custom what is better!!!! i thing stock is the best for all.

Please share me the link. I want to update 4.4Procedure to Update Galaxy S2 GT
I9100G with the KitKat 4.4 Android
Firmware:
Download the Kit Kat 4.4 for
Galaxy S2 GT I9100G and Google
Apps Package from here to your
computer. Once downloaded,
connect your phone to the
computer with the help of
original USB cable and place the
two zip files in your device.
Disconnect the device so that it
can be entered in the Recovery
Mode. Manually Galaxy S2 can be
entered in the recovery mode by
pressing Volume Up Key, Centre
button, and holding both
simultaneously press the Power
Button after which you will get to
see a green robot indicating that
the device has entered in the
recovery mode.
Select “install zip from SD Card”
to choose the KitKat 4.4Firmware
Package and then the Google
Apps Package for installing the
same. Please note that it might
take around 4 – 5 minutes for
applying the update. Once
updated, select “Go BACK” and
choose the option of “Reboot
System Now” for rebooting the
device.
Note: Just in a rare case if the device
doesn’t boot up or show the home
screen then remove the battery and
reinsert the same to boot the device
again in the normal mode.
You can check the firmware update
from the path “Settings > About
Phone > Firmware Version” where
the firmware update version will be
mentioned. Do let us know in the
comments section just in case if you
face any issues in the process of
firmware update as we will try our
level best to answer all your
queries / issues at the earliest.

It's the best phone ever,no big difference from S3!

i think your comment is totaly fales...im using this phone since 2011 20 th june...i never see any lag or restart problem.
.my brother have grand duos..its alwags lag when play big games ....but s2 doesent lag ...and im using kitkat 4.4 custom rom..its blazing fast...even faster than my friends stock s3....so dont give fales comment here..u r sammy haters

Worst phone I have ever owned hands down! Extremely slow internet, lag, phone restarts itself and deletes contact pictures, etc... This phone was my first samsung purchase and due to the very poor quality and minimal support it will absolutely be my last.

I found it! I just need to register the 3g to my network. Now i can make video call with another samsung galaxy.
