I just bought this phone for 1 day, there is no problem with black theme or dark picture viewing, but if i use white them or viewing picture with white color or background i saw small black dot and it doesn't look smooth, is the phone were made for this, or my phone display got a problem? anybody know?

i brought tys phone b4 a month.
the problem is the phone getting hot when playing any high graphics game like GT++ , is thr any solution for it??
will the update of android 2.3.4 solve it ???? or not

The answer is ''turn off your mobil phone, and sleep' your problem will be slove with so called high end samsung smart phone.

dada shahi, 25 Aug 2011Hi All, After saving for last one year now i am able to ... moreI think if you want quality apps,cool gaming experience, good build quality and no Reset again and again than wait for i Phone5 and if you want good camera, big screen(not caring about size), fast compared to iphone4 but not twice fast than go for GSII.....But if you will ask from me i am sick user of GS 1 beside all cool specs in real life performance SAMSUNG sucks, i have tried it that's why i am saying it..!!!!!!!

xperia arc:
design:10/10
it has really good and innovative design look like an angel!the best looking phone in my opinion
display:9/10
is really bright with excellent contrast but viewing angle is a let down compare to ips lcd of iphone 4 and super amoled of sgs2 also black are not as deep as sgs2 display because of lcd technology
user interface:8/10
really a good one with good animation and the most important thing is that phone is easy to use but not as good as htc sense
camera&video:9/10
the best only passed by nokia n8 with pleasing colors and low noise
sound quality:9/10
both in loud speaker and in headset sound quality is excellent
multimedia:8/10
default video player is a let down but you can download rock player and enjoy HD 720p avi movies
music player is great
performance:9/10
fast!really fast!it lags only when you open 5 live wallpapers and phone will be slow for 10 seconds
sgs 2:
display:10/10
the best of best for sure
design:9/10
beautiful light and only 8.5 mm but plastics feels not very good
multimedia:10/10
enjoy 1080 p movies because of really fast dual core processor!
music player is top notch
user interface:10/10
really as good as sense and phone is as fast as jet!
camera&video:9/10
as good as arc even a bit better video quality in my opinion
sound quality:9/10
as good as arc
performance:10/10
this phone is from another world
forcing this phone to be slow is mission impossible!
it can handle over 30 application!
verdict:both of them are great phones in their price range
in my country sgs2 is 750 USD and arc is 580 USD(unlocked versions)so this is up to you which amount of money you want to pay for a phone

iPhone 3GS/SII user, iPhone over SII :
- IP is more slick better battery life and the new IOS 5 is BIG step forward.
- apple app store is much superior tha Android store, in terms of apps quality and great games (I miss many games that I have on my IP) Android store is more of quantity!
SII over iPhone:
- power, screen. And most important the Freedom u get on SII u no longer have to rely on iTunes (god I hate this software) actully u can transfer stream files video audio out/to ur PC/Phone/Tv without 3rd party software. Android=Freedom.
But since u have power and apps running on background and thin designe, u will get below average Battery life and heating.

Guys , I got this phone days ago.......It's great by all means.I can say that there is no single mistake in this phone ( best phone on Earth)

Vijai, 26 Aug 2011I brought the S2 last month. It is heating up heavily near ... moreif you are using apps and also have wifi and bluetooth switched on will cause strain on the battery causing it to over heat - try turning these off to see if this resolves issue x

Screen resolution= awesome, performance= awesome. Very light and flat. The best phone ever. The only but is the sound. Sorted now i've downloaded power amp. Used an Iphone and is no way comparable to the S2. Thumbs up!
