I am very confused between the Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC Sensation. Both have rave reviews on the internet but I have read about the heating problems with the Galaxy S2. Despite that do you think the phone is worth the money? Some people also told me about the i Phone 4 but that being a year old is not very appealing to me and besides Apple’s closed system doesn’t impress me. Any help from you would be much appreciated. Looking forward to your reply at your earliest convenience.

Someone should re-test "SAR" on S2, because I had the same problem with one of "Docs" roms for Galaxy S when I barely could hold the phone!

I was wondering .. Is there any diagnostics app for the Galaxy S II that checks the device's functions?
I'm thinking of something that you can run when you first buy the phone to make sure everything is OK.

I have owned this gadget for 3 days already, and i am very happy with it! So far, theres not much of a problem. The phone is as good as what internet reviews say about it. The web browser performance(works very fast and smooth), camera(Provides lots of features for personal settings, quality of camera & HD Video recording is superb),and the audio quality of the phone are all great. It downloads stuffs from android market very fast and its very efficient. I like the fact that i can download multiple stuff all at one go, unlike in the Iphone whereby it will exit the market to install.
About the part whereby people say the battery gets heats up, i would have to agree, but to me personally, its not much of a problem as i feel that the heat is still acceptable. It just gets slightly hotter when its charging/when performing intensive tasks. But since most smartphones get hot too , so... I also like the messaging interface, its somewhat different from other android phones, and the keyboard is very nice to use, i hardly type any wrong words even without the T9 Predictions.
One reason why i chose this over the HTC sensation(besides its slower web browsing experience, "death grip" issues, shorter battery life, and how it lost to SGS2 in all the tests: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_sensation-review-605p4.php) is simply because of its simple & nice design and how thin it is despite its huge screen of 4.3 inch with the superAmoled screen. I might be a little bit weird, but i like the fact that the back of the phone is made of Strong plastic instead of Metal. Its not fragile and i did accidentally dropped my phone,but it does not leave a scratch or whatsoever. i hate the fact that people say SGS2 is so lightweight that it feels like a toy/dummy phone, but please, the lightweight really pleases me! Feels so good on the hand :) its solid and yet light.

Though the S2 is a Brilliant phone, there are certain limitations that make me miss my Blackberry !!!! The first one is that for Group Messaging when you add a group only the First 20 Names are taken !!!! Very Bad.

I just did a firmware update through samsung kies for my SGS2, its firmware is now KE7. s This update fixes the following issues, 1. Battery Life, 2. Camera Picture pink tint. Now its helped improve the battery life, but since i am a heavu user its lets me get through a Full day of use. I use it for video mostly as i travel on the train a lot and it allows me to keep up with my favourite TV Shows. plus a lot facebook. and maybe one or two calls per/day. some sms to. If your a medium user you should be able to get two full days out of it and still have about 10% battery left. Samsung will bring android 2.3.4 to the device soon. early as august. cant wait.

hey frnds!!! Amazing phone.bought it yestrdy.wndrful experience.yep,its expensive,but worth the money.way better thn ny othr ph in mrkt nw.if u r confused abt it,dnt wrry.u wil surely love it.its realy a beast in ur hand.beats al its rivals hands on! :-)
