Oh my gosh this phone is so many issue like yellow, blue and pink issue... tried to call to samsung but it said its normal because of super amoled im so disappointed...

However, sharing one observation, while listening the song in headphone, I got the backgroung sound but main vocal was very low, but some songs were ok, Is this related with bitrate (MHz) or fps or like this type of specification?

Wow.... Thz z the phone whr technology ends.... Amazing phone.... Saying smartphone to it is its insult coz its a smartestphone ever created.... Guys those who r planning to buy it, just go for it coz if u do late thn it wud go out of stock.... I got thz phone yesterday n today i can say that its god f all the phones in market.... Not a single problem i faced in thz, i went to buy thz in bangalore n in first 8 shops whr i went, they said thz phone z out f stock n i got it frm 9th store.... I thought i wont get it bt finally m feeling very lucky tat i got thz phone....

Question to real Galaxy SII owner:
1) I know how good this phone is. I've seen & heard about its awesome features. Only thing making me hesitant to buy this phone is ...Battery life. Can you tell me how good battery life in this phone? I'm BB user.
2) How loud is speaker phone? Is it good enough to wake me up in the morning as i depend on phone for alarm clock. I do not care about quality of sound...just need loudness. Thanks in advance!

After waiting a lot for Motorola Atrix for a long time in india , i finally decided to go for this device, and i must say :
+ Display is awesome
+ Music Quality is very good.
+ Browser is very good.
+ Call Quality is good , but quality is affected when
I receive any call in moving vehicle.
+ Camera/Camcorder is pretty good .

no heating problem at all ,where is this yelow tint please someone help me find it lol
its a Sexy fone.
battery backup is too good for me 7 hours and i didnt keep the fone down

My experience with Samsung was very impressive, until 2009 where most of their models are made in China.
Before any model you get was very durable.
Like what I have until today the P310.
How most model today are easily spoiled.
My P310 is still good with it's battery performance.
This Galaxy SII I heard is also made in China.

for everyone's knowledge here... do not compare iphone 4 with samsung galaxy s ii.. because iphone 4 rivals the first galaxy s.. wait for the iphone 4gs/iphone 5 that will compete with this phone.. so stupid!
iphone 4 is 2010 model... sgs ii was released months ago... are you even thinking? knowing that apple release one phone a year and samsung bombarded the market with many copycat smartphones... why the well?
it also a joke samsung galaxy s ii has a variation with just different screen... for what to boost the sales? can't they even make one model then let it be... like the iphone 4, no variation...but look at the sales...

Just go to:
"Setting" > "Account and Sync" then uncheck "Background data".
Then:
"Setting" > "Wireless and network" > "Mobile networks" then uncheck "Use packet data".
This should guarantee no more high bills :)
One side comment, while on WiFi, you can re-enable the "Background data" options for updates and other social applications/notifications.

How can I stop continous Internet charging on this handset.my weather application and some other application keep on updating even I did not update it. So it results to a huge Internet bill.any settings to stop this.please help.

Hello everyone,
Wanted to share my battery experience with my 9 days old SGSII.
Now (after the 4th full charge), It's showing 48% with 1 day and 9 hours! This along with my usual daily usage. The same usage that lasted only 20 hours of juice at the beginning.
What did I do?
1. Disabled "Use packet Data" from Mobile network settings.
2. Disabled 3G and working only on EDGE (may not be suitable for everyone, by the 3G coverage and speed are is not a lot better than EDGE in my area).
3. Having WiFi always on .. Being actually connected ~10 hours a day. Keep in mind, I'm saying "connected" not "using" .. Usage is just for couple of hours.
4. Disabled GPS .. Enable it only when needed (just few minutes every now and then).
5. Installed Juice Defender and Advanced Task Killer.
6. Screen Brightness set to "Auto".
I know that some of you will say that I might not be making full use of the phone this way .. I thought so myself at the beginning and was just doing so for an experiment.. But then I discovered that I really enjoy every bit of it while having a full two days on a single recharge.
I only enable a service whenever I need it .. It may sound like a tedious thing to do, but for the extra juice, I guess it's reasonable.

Hey fellow Muslims .. Any recommendations for a good "Prayer Times" app with a good Qibla direction that uses the phone built-in compass rather than the location services?
I always need it when I have now GPS lock nor a data connection.

A neat trick by sammy...holding n sliding ur finger across the notification bar results in increment/decrement of brightness...all together ths fone is loaded with amazing bunch of features...and its awesomeness simply cant b compared...an excellent package...amazing fone wid exceptional user experience...
