There is obviously going to be a hell of a lot of interest in anything Nokia because they are doing so badly... none of those hits and likes and views transfer to sales...
And if you want evidence of that - look at the N8...

Sales? Terrible. Reviews? Terrible.
Just because Lady Gaga has 42,000,000,000,000 friends on Facebook - it doesn't mean they'll all transfer into sales - she hasn't even got to #1 in the UK with her latest stuff...

It was announced 3 days... moreWell, yeah Cedd, Nokia is one of the most famous mobile phone manufacturer in the world,,,, there are lots and lots of people who are convinced that there are no mobile phone manufacturers other than Nokia, and refuse to look around for other manufacturers (Yeah, I used to be one of them).... Nevertheless, Nokia N9 seems pretty impressive..... but I've already made my mind... and it's For Samsung Galaxy SII

I can see how famous and hot N9 is. It was announced 3 days ago and it got almost 360,000 hits in just 3 days (130,000 hits per day.) N9 has 3K likes made in 3 days almost half of the 7k like of SG2. From 3,200 votes back in June 20. And now 10,672 votes. WOW. Today N9 already have 66,357 hits (compared to SGII's 38,568) N9 has 95% daily interest compared to SGII's 55%(its a drop on percentage for SGII since the announcement of N9) It took weeks for SGII to have 106 +1 while N9 has +106 already in just 3 days. WOW. I can see how Nokia is famous.

Im sending this message with my brand new SGS2 just bought 1 hour ago. I feel sorry for u ppl just keep complaining abt this phone. u got to own one before u comment on this phone. Plastic back cover is not an issue. no yellow spot problem. AWSOME PHONE

Rooted last night using ODIN :) worked perfect...
installed chainfire 3D :) installed Nvidia plug in :)
and now
Playing Samurai Vengence 2 :D
roooting process was very smooth took around 5 minutes..
these all games r working so perfectly on my sgs2

If you look hard enough on the web you'll find evidence to support any argument you like...
I've had mine for 2-3 weeks now...
I can honestly say it's SUPERB, I had a Galaxy S before this, and I was worried about upgrading (i.e. too similar, wanted something different, etc.)
But honestly - the difference is amazing, the screen is sharper and clearer, the design is funkier but most importantly it's just so fast, you can throw anything at it and it'll just work (as all android phones should)
My Galaxy S used to crash and lag all the time... This one is like a totally new experience, no resets, no re-installs, just slick slick slick...
People say you don't need dual core - YOU DO - especially for something like android which is so customisable and therefore often requires more processing power than more limited software (iOS, WM7, etc.)
Honestly, purely for the quality of the screen and speed, it's going to be hard to move from Sammy now.. Hopefully Xperia Play 2 will have similar specs!

Just factory reset your phone before selling - that way it wipes all user information and apps downloaded... Sorted!

Ok I got this phone from vodafone Australia.
Ater using three days A quick update on this phone
Best Phone I have ever used ( I have used ARC, IPhone 4 and HTC desire )
Now why is this best:
Absolutely no lag while using any app (especially phone function and camera is amazing)
Downloaded fontmaizer app and installed SATURN PLUS FONT ...wooohooooo now displays devanagari font...with absolute clarity on web pages.
Battery life is really good ( lasted 16-20 hours)..just make sure you do not over brighten the screen...
USB On the go absolutely rocks...got a dongle from ebay for Aud $4.00
Screen is really vibrant and amazing clarity outdoor.
Front camera absolutely rocks on TANGO and Fring...
Quadrant always over 3100 and maxed to 3400 without rooting and voodoo...
Facebook and Web browsing is amazing even with crappy android facebook app.
Last but not the least..I have noticed a little heating on 3G after an hour use but no heating on WIFI ( WiFi is faster than my mac book...)
THIS PHONE IS A DREAM SMARTPHONE...TRUST ME

What's new about this phone?It's just an evolution of the previous GALAXY S.
Superamoled to superamoled plus?-- how vivid do you really need? it separates you from the real colors of the world!!!
Dual core-- as of today, not all games and apps run on dual core yet...SGS II, is not the FIRST DUAL CORE SMARTPHONE, so nothing big deal with that.
Highspeed data access... oh really? if your network is poor, it's useless... what's the point?
slimmer body?another evolution from iPhone 4 and the first galaxy s.
A real good smartphone should be REVOLUTIONARY. You cannot say a phone is bad because of its UI... Symbian is good, the icons, the transitions just s*cks.
Symbian is the best in multitasking so far! Fact.
N8 is STILL the best CAMERA, with FM transmitter, beter usb otg.LARGEST SENSOR, CARL ZEISS, XENON FLASH.. NOT THE 12MP THAT MATTERS.
N9, introduced the pure touch screen, swipE gesture...that's REVOLUTIONARY.
As far as i know, Android is used even in clone smartphones made in china, how cheap :(

.really 4hours and 52min or sumthing of battery life on browsing is really shame 4 a beast i hope u listening sammy.wel i want 2 see a 24hours of battery life on brwsing and using multimedia 4 the nxt popular galaxy s. i knw the phone is gr8 awes0me bcoz i have it but the plastic body is a shit and the battery lyf is sckable well i thinx xperia arc is better than this one..
