I GOT MY GALAXY S II TODAY n mannnn this phone is the awesomest piece ever!!!!!!!! iphone aint nooothin in front of this...it's soooo beautiful i cannot just explain it i mere words!! i am indian living in indore and believe me guys, it's THE best phone ever.period.
just go for it...i bought it for 29,500 and it's so smart, all phones r dumbphones in front of it!!

Battery drain happens from mainly to events
events/0
/suspend
Also make sure to keep your wi-fi wake up policy to "never in wifi settings"

i bought galaxy s2 3 days ago from technovision hyderabad..
Phone is brillant in all aspects...apart from battery..yes battery is having issue....its more of a bug rather then battery problem
If you are using a external SDcard then you should remove it becuase the media.process continousely runs in background if you have microsd card inserted..and tht sdcard might be corrputed...
I had the same problem so i removed sdcard and now the battery life is improved to a great deal
Also do not use samsung inbuilt social hubs they are crappy piece of shit they too consumes loads of battery life

i got the galaxy s2 n realy its an awesome phone n it delivers handsomely wid the display & web browsing being great though it hs been 2 days but i hv not been able to use this beast upto its potential due to me being first time user of an android as well as a smart phone .... however im a bit disapointed wid battery it last only 1 day of normal use or may be its too early to comment on it ....... but me purely enjoying it .... cheers samsung :D

no physical qwerty keyboard for this phone is the reason I did not purchase this phone from croma cause navigating with only touchscreen is a big headache and pain in the ass, specs for this phone are good, price is cheap, fast processor, gr8 android apps, only wish it had a physical qwerty keyboard :(

The one released in indian version has superamoled plus display or super clear lcd display coz i heard in sum forums that this is also released in two versions lyk nexus s, i9100 and i9103..... And what abt gpu... it has nvidia tigra or orion chipset in indian models???? N wer i can find it cheaper in bangalore??? Plz reply as soon as possible....

dave, 14 Jun 2011yes the battery is rubbish, only lasting 10mins!!!!!!!!!!!!!use it then tell me. even if u buy the rubbish its battery will definetly give more then 10 minutes.

tungau, 14 Jun 2011 anybody already using it for a month please tell us about... moreany phone like gs2 will surely use the power to give the output which u expect from it. if u use it less it drains less if u use it more it drains more. totaly depends on your usage. the battery given by samsung is quite a high power battery. there are lots of applications and when u buy it u want to use all of them and the battery drains fast but as u get to know ur device u will surely feel that the battery is no problem. and u have the best mobile handset right now in the market of its category.
