[deleted post]Ok.....I guess you want to reignate the debate by putting gas on fire....No problem.....I respond to people accordingly.....When persons like Pooja,SignSyn or others ask questions in regard to Galaxy I am more then happy to advice and help them to make a good choice since I had Galaxy S and some friends of mine work in the the mobile bussiness...they got me the Galaxy and I hope they will get me G2 as well....
On the other when I came across eliteist snobs like some here who constantly complain about the way other's people post are beeing structured,and criticise people for what ,in their opinion is lack of knoledge and information regarding the informations they provide....constantly acting in a infatuated and arrogant way......when I came acroos individuals of your kind full of contempt and arrogance....well I reply the way I did.......And I don't regret it!

But,why are you telling me.I mean that I had written that I will try to clear the doubts of other buyer.I know that it is a great phone.
And the bitter truth is that I will never able to buy it.I have to continue my tweaks on android lg optimus one only.
I have used my friends mobile to experience all the three popular mobiles,i.e,galaxy s2,optimus 2X and sensation(sensation was available in gray market.Something suspicious to me.).Therefore,I can clear the confusion.
Since,I like to play with android.Therefore,I will also able to clear the technical problems .I hope so.Because it is very difficult to solve technical problems virtually.

I will give best answers to the qu... moreAbsolutly just get on and enjoy the phone.I have had it nearly a month and using 32GB class 2 sandisk card.
My videos at 1080p use between 117MB and 125MB per minute but until i get MHL cable i can only see them at laptop resolution ,BUT,they will be so good when i look back in the future and i have my memories at fantastic resolution.
I cannot see any screen defects i just get on with enjoying sgs 2 .I do put it on charge each night ready for next day activities but often its got about 38% battery left.I have done some basic excell and word on sgs 2 and its quite usable with Polaris software.
Sound through loudspeaker and headfones is fantastic for me.The loudspeaker is about 70% power of nokias 5800.The earphones sound using my senheiser cx300 (not the cx300 2 tho)is abosolutey brilliant with concert hall setting its like walking into a nightclub.The cx300 2 are bass light to me unless all 3 pairs ive bought are faulty,the treble is crystal clear tho.
Does it get hot,yes it does but i am not one bit worried or bothered.Ive had many smartfones and they all get hot ,some get very hot under 3g video streaming.Remember my 1.6GHz laptop has heatsinks and a big fan on the proccessor.I have dual core laptop at 2.0GHz and that has heatsink and fan on top.The sgs2 has no fan and copes extremly well.
Other compliments go on but i wish this hardware was in nokia and windows mobile (not windows fone 7 the old windows fones) I say this because i love tweaking these o/s systems of old ....
Negatives are i am not keen on Android,its quite large,its touchscreen with i hate but only way to get a powerful device,no custom ROMS yet but i cannot see how they can improve it.OK sgs had RFS file sytem and needed custom ROMS but this thing is so fast i cannot see how they can tweak it.Running it at 2.0GHz is just going to run down battery.On sgs i could not flick through 20GB of music it stuttered and stalled but sgs 2 it just flows with NO lag or stutter.
If sgs 2 had flip down keypad like sony ericsson p900 this would nearly be my perfect smartphone.I will keep it whilst using e72 for real button input as well.I fancy the nokia E6 next or BB 9900.

i have had the phone for well over two weeks now. i am afraid i will have to call some of the reviews posted here as rubbish. this is an excellent phone as compared to anything available in the market.

Good for you!......Next time loan money to people who will pay you back in a reasonable period,instead of calling them to remind them.....OK....this is a pretty expensive phone....and for people who don't have money to waist like you and me it's a blow to their wallet,so they have to decide weissly......If you can wait for another 2 months the price will go down,because the interest of the costumers will be lower and the network operators will be forced to lower the price a bit.....But if you are eager to get it and can't wait until then......buy it now!

Well still don't know should i wait or should i get, i already waited more then year for Device like this which value my hardly earned money lol

AnonD-9767, 04 Jun 2011yea, my friend's father selling one :) so i dunno... should... moreHard choice....Since you buy the phone from a family friend 99% the phone has no issues,so it's not a matter of trust.....but if have problemes with it after a while....The change parts are very expensive,a ribbon(flex) for the I9000 is 100€, a display 175€ a microphone 50€.....and for G2 i imagine will be even more expensive.....not to mention if you have eny software issues...Hard choice......be carefull......Good luck!

Amazing phone but shocking poor video performance.
Video quality on Galaxy S is so much smoother and better overall.
What I mean by this statement is that I previously owned the Galaxy S and loved the video performance and my girlfriend still has Galaxy S so I ran some tests.
The Galaxy S2 does obviously take clear video but the auto focus is a complete joke with how slow it takes to react and EXPOSURE is a complete failure.
What I mean with exposure issue is when you film into bright outdoor light then change your filming to indoors darker situation, it takes roughly 7-10 seconds to catch up. (Very Poor)
Other issues, when recording video on Galaxy S when I pressed the power button it would lock screen so you do not accidently zoom but on the Galaxy S2 it stops the video.
I am really hoping these issue I mention get fixed with future firmware upgrades and in my opinion it would be the best phone ever.
