If apps are not so important for you,you can also buy the S8500 wave....you can get it at around 300€! Both of them are wonderfull devices!

Hi... friends... I got the Samsung Galaxy S II yesterday 2 June before its official launch in India and before Vodaphone launch it tdy 3rd june...
Its an awesome phone... fast, superb clarity, grt speakers.... altogether I will rate it 10/10...

Sun, 02 Jun 2011As you've seen Samsung rolled out the upgrades for Galaxy S... morewell for video recorging, i have my 14mpx fuji with hd recording, so i dont need good camera in phone, talking about displays... every person has his own taste, and i prefeer arc display :) also im thinking of buying arc (spending less money) and waiting for s3 :D

Why all the fuss about Sammy's build quality? OK, I would prefer Sammy's insides with HTC's outsides but it's not going to happen. Besides, who would invest $800+ on a smartphone and not protect it with the best cover available? Once it's protected the build is immaterial. I've had this device for over a month now and have not encountered any of the problems mentioned in this forum. Best device I've had and had them all.

I love this phone and after reading review by GSMARENA i am totally in love with this device, But its too costly for me so anyone suggest anything almost same like this one ? Which have Almost good screen like this one Good music and camera ?

before buy this phone you must check the camera more carefully unless you gonna end up just like me. i just bought this phone and start playing with the camera. after a few shots and a few mode change. the phone freeze and restart. then my camera stop working only show 'Camera Failed' message. this phone has no warranty in my country and i've also been to the Samsung service center but still no luck :(

[deleted post]hey frnd,it is true that gs2 has all the features in it.then what is the real reason behind these yellow spots in the screen.their build quality is not good,if this same phone build with quality meterials the price must be double than its original price.they spend very small amount of money for build quality.

I'm sure that G2 will also receive upgrades,even Honeycomb.About this yellow tint issue.....I'm sure that issue was blown out of proportion by some users,and this problem is more limited then you might think.There is much more to G2 than the dual core! The best display in the business- superamoled plus,1 GB RAM,1080 video recording,improved camera over he I9000,usb on the go. If you want a good phone,a "pretty face".....buy the Arc.....if you want the best in the business buy Galaxy 2!!!

[deleted post]im rly confused :) ill wait these 1.5 monts and see if any updates do smthing with that heat :) well i wouldnt regret by buying arc i guess, cuz for now i dont need dual core, and there no apps which need dual core phones :) so this thing would be only for pleasure to say ' i have dual core smartphone' :D sry for my english, im not a native speaker of eng :) and i believe that dual core phones arent so stable for now, and i think samsung arent made for quality. i mean performance is good, but endurance is lower than se :) i hope u did understand me

i have this phone and i have no problems with it at all. It does get a little warm with prolonged use but nothing to worry about. It is an amazing phone which is lightening fast with no lag. It is worth every cent.
