guys, find out about this problem yesterday and today I returned my handset
don't buy this phone till this is fully sorted, they say this problem can gradually get worse.
Samsung needs to sort this out,
it has been many return since the news.

AnonD-1470, 02 Jun 2011hey guys, there is a camera firmware update in samsung apps... moreI installed it and it removed the pink spot (in my case sometimes also green spot) issue. as i had not tried video shooting, cannot say whether the update has changed anything in that regard as well or not. but once more - the quality of a picture improved after the firmware update. recommend to download and install.

Can anybody comment on the mucsic playback quality through earphones. I am looking to get one of these phones next month when my contract ends but have been put off by a review saying that the sound quality through earphones is not very good. I currently have an iPhone 3GS and use the iPod feature a lot which gives excellent quality sound. I am happy enough with my iPhone and would rather keep it than change to this and be disappointed.

Hi guys.
This is the first samsung mobile phone I am using and I have to say that I am pretty impressed with it. I am loving this phone but there is only one problem which is the heat issue. Any one have any idea how to deal with it? But I prefer HTC phones for their widgets. I think Samsung should do something about their widgets. Well other than that it is an awsome phone. I will recomend it for anyone.

AnonD-9767, 01 Jun 2011sounds like samsung fanboy... talking just because u love s... moreI remember all sorts of complaints regarding I9000....Reading those complaints I was a bit aprehensive to buy it,but when I did I discovered a wonderfull device. The phone had been previously flashed with a very good ROM by someone who worked for Samsung,so he new what he was doing. I never experienced 90% of the issues reported on forums! I am very confident that when I will buy the G2 I won't have eny major issues with it!

Wind, 02 Jun 2011I read some blog that its 4G enabled...is it so??? And som... moreWell yes, but no. It has the speed that some companies are claiming as 4G, but no companies are actually using 4G speeds yet. Though like I said it has the speed that the other so called *4G* phones have.

This is my first samsung phone, and the best phone I have ever had. Blazing fast, great looking, useful. Its been 2 weeks, and no problems so far. Certainly better than my iPhone4.
