wow...i9100G is like the hell...i found that when i turn on the wifi and after a few seconds i turn off the wifi... then suprise...magically its phone memory (2GB memory) shows 3-4MB more storage capacity...after months the memory fulls and u should reset ur phone... Im angryyyyyyyyyy...what a cheat samsung has made

KEKO, 10 Jul 2012does any one know about a bug in S2 I9100G make a force sil... moreaLL S11G share the same problem ( old story ) freeze at Media player and camera.....only solution is upgrade to ICS like what most user are doing now. If your region do not have ICS upgrade, then, you may at your own risk upgrade on your own....pls dont ask how....Search Google

i m using this phone from past three months as soon as i updated my phone to IS4.03 RAM detoriated to 687mb only priour to the update it ws 967.
if ne 1 can plz help...

Hey guys i am from India and i have brought my S2 from Saudi Arabia.
and i have to update my SGS 2 .to ICS
so , if i update the Indian firmware in my s2
it will hang or it will run without hanging.....?
i am asking this question b'coz one of my friend told that if i update the Indian firmware my mobile will hang...
guys i want to update the Indian firmware..
plzzz reply me...

Not facing any problems after ics update...But just one thing i find the response of phone a little slow...like if i click on the icon of any app it takes a second or so which i find a little more than it used to take in Gingerbread....is evryone noticing this thing or just me...and does anyone has any idea about furthur updates...r we going to get any furthur updates?

faaas, 01 Jul 2012Yaa mine drop to 687mb why eh ?The shown RAM indicates the available free memory. Its just a change from initial gingerbread notation where it was xxxMB/1GB where the xxx implies the free RAM as in our ICS case and 1GB is the total memory.

I'm done with i9100 & don't wanna care about the different between i9100 & i9100g anymore. Same with S3. I think it not worth $$$ to upgrade from S2 to S3. Not a big different in term of spec between S2 & S3. The S3 just have 4'8 inch 720p screen & quad core cpu. Not good looking phone like S2. If someone used smartphone for show off, just go & buy it. For me, i'm buying smartphone for self satisfaction. I think, i will have to wait for next year S4. For now i will stick with my S2 i9100g. Finaly settled all the problem it have before & it work perfectly brilliant with ics..(this is just my opinion & i dunno about what u guys think) ;D

daniel, 03 Jul 2012hi,im from Malaysia..just wondering..how did u get jelly be... morejellybeans will need quad core like S111, infact next shipment will be jellybeans. No official JB for s2/s2g coz the hardware cannot run with JB (pls read write up on this ). But you can still use Custom Rom to run JB...pls google those guys at xda
