when they release jelly bean for I9100G?i heard samsung not going to release jelly bean for galaxy s2...is it true ?

From Kerala, just enquired in a local mobile store where I was told that Samsung has discontinued the device after the launch of Gs3..
How far is it true. I intend to buy one within this month..

meya, 01 Jul 2012hi ,me from qatar. I intend to buy the galaxy s2..when i ch... more. I bought this phone and I am using it since 7 months. And it's like dream. I have iPhone 4s and blackberry torch 9810 and they are nothing comparing to s2 in every spec .. its the best phone i have ever seen . Its even faster than pc .. when I bought it.In Qatar. It was 2400 Riyals now the price drop to 1900 Riyals for white and 1800 Riyals for black..

hi ,me from qatar. I intend to buy the galaxy s2..when i checked the models in the outlets,in the box cover mentions that, GT-I9100 LKAXSG ???
what it means..either G or Non G?? whether is it the good version...can any one ..please advice..so that ,i can go ahead..In addition to that,kinldy brief in detail about the above said model...advantage or disadvantage..

Its not for the feeble minded people. Its for people who are technically sound on android OS. I have seen people purchasing the phone just for the heck of it & haven't used even 10% of its features. So whats the fun ? Mine (SGS2G) is updated OTA on 4.0.3 & running like a breeze, no hanging, no heating, playing all types of HD games. One has to just grow up...

There are different firmware for different countries, naturally the Samsung Gallary guy in India is bound to react in that manner. I suggest you goto Saudi Samsung Site & download the Kies software and try the ICS update of your Phone after connecting it it to your PC, or update your firmware thro OTA (over the air) directly from mobile. It also depends where you have registered your mobile(i.e created the samsung account), whether Saudi or India. Try it & let us know.

Hey guys i am from India and i have brought my S2 from saudi arabia.
And i went to upgrade it to android ICS 4.0.3 in Samsung Gallary.
but
when i told that this mobile is from abroad so they told that they cant update it , because ur cell is from abroad and ur versions is different from other.
so what should i do....??
I want to update it to ICS..
plzz reply..

Please...do update ur galaxy s2g with ics and u'll find ur gs2g absolutely brilliant..dont cry like a baby..me updated to ics and play most of hd games without hangs, overheating and anything like 9100's cronies said!!

My suggestion to u ppl out there... get the other model of the s2. the gti9100. this one is terrible. freezes a lot so u hve to take battery out, mine does this around every two days!!
