I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100g model.
After the ICS update RAM went down to 687MB. This seems a serious bug. Lot of people having this problem.

dear User,
pls help to advise me that Should i upgrage my S2 to ICS or not? tell me the advantage of its, as its disadvantage after upgraded to ICS. i'm cambodian.

Sir i update my i9100g to ics frm samsung care.but after updating my video player cant play 1080p videond some of the 720p also.i even tried with mx player.but d result is same..whats d problem??
Also by standard quadrant i check system information..before update it showed "board=tomap"
Nw it shows "board=tuna".is der any possibility dat samsung care changes d parts?

I think they changed ur parts as well as the phone.....so through your s2 g in the dustbin andbuy a original non g version of s2 and see the differents

The S2 (I9100g) I bought was a real disappointment, hangs and freeze every day while the phone gets hot, battery drops t zero in a half our! Rebooting always hangs on media scanning external SD card. Camera hangs, and after a few incoming calls, it hangs.maybe Samsung didn't iron t bugs when porting from I9100? Now after ICS upgrade, it feels like a real phone...no more freezing or overheating(so far). Have yet to see any other problems in camera, overheating, etc. but after 2 days still very stable. Feels like a new phone but ram reduced to 687mb?

Sir, after upgrade to ics, my i9100g cant play hd video as before.colour combination is poor than before.i have done it frm samsung care.they told me, first four times the update shows error..and fifth time itz complited successfully..so is there any possibility dat they change any parts?

Dear SII G Frens.....we had problems with our SII G with GB 2.3.6,like freeze camera and music player using handfree which never solved. Now we all got our ICS upgrade, NO more freeze, faster, smoother AND yet you are not happy....pls read user opinion for SII non G version..they too have issues not to mention Nexus users. pls for goodness....love your gti9100g and t8care.

AnonD-40177, 31 May 2012hi all of you ....... i am looking forward to upgrade my i9... morei think u can flash any ics firmware now but not the chinese ones. try and google it out. just upgrade to ics via KIES today and it works phenomenal! good luck bro

Hi gyes i m in India and suddenly my mobile screen flashed with ICS update, downloading it now excited to see how it work.

After the upgrade with ICS having some issues:
- Ram reduce to 687mb frm 0.98GB. Dont know why?
- Its lagging now specially on temple run and any other game.
- Mobile network disconnection frequently.
- App setting option is not working in data usage app.
Is there any other user getting the same problems?
