louis, 07 Jun 2012What's mean OTA?OTA means over the air. In this case you upgrade your phone via Settings>>About Phone>>Software Update>>Update (which will check for updates and allow you to directly download and install it on the phone). The update is hosted in the air and hence called OTA.

For those who are complaining contact bugs, ram decreased and etc, u can actually just root your phone to the latest CM9 nightly build. It's quite stable now eventhough it's still in early stage.

Dear SGIIG frens.....before you raise issues regarding you hp after upgrade to ics....pls read earlier reviews and check also SGII official reviews by GSM arena. Remember, SGII got their ICS in March. read their users reviews too.....lots of issues too

Yesterday updated my son's SE Xperia arc from 2.3.4 to ICS via SE PC Companion....smooth.
so if any one here facing issues on your SGIIG after update ICS, Pls go and rectify.... re flash by what ever means....thks

contact list bug was after ICS update.

there is contact list bug....When u don't want to see contact numbers from SIM.But contact list is showing all contact numabers including SIm numbers even if u restricted through "contact to display"option.Any one is facing such issue.

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2012Sir i update my i9100g to ics frm samsung care.but after up... moresometime u download from Kies or OTA,this problem will happen due to files not 100% downloaded.i suggest u download manually via Odin cuz it more stables.visit sammobile.com/firmware & follow the instructions.good luck!

about ram we cannot do anything due to it was shared cuz ics firmware have a bigger display graphics but dont worry cuz it will not effect the speed.i suggest u can download RAM BOOSTER from blackmart,it will keep ur sgs2 full speed maintain.2nd,i suggest u download BATTERY REPAIR,it will give u more extra hours (add 2-5 hours).pls read & understand b4 u install both apps.try it to believe it.peace!

guys g model is very worst model ................don,t buy it go for orginal samsung galaxy s2 i9100.....

updated ics 2 days back, ram reduced to 687, but works nicely
Problem with its wi-fi which disconnects after every 3 minutes.
does any body has solution??

I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100g model.
After the ICS update RAM went down to 687MB. This seems a serious bug. Lot of people having this problem.
