friends can any one tell me does samsung galaxy s2 have sms folder option? like we make separate folders of ever kind of messages in nokia? does samsung galaxy s2 having that feature?

I've bought this device 5 month ago. But the problem is this device will getting hot everytime when i try to surf the internet even when i play game or play video. Furthermore unfortunely my sim card was crooked...

i buy my 19000G 2 month ago but till now i happy..1st i like this phone about battery..i use with call a few time + standby = 8-9days battery can reach.. maybe when put standby mode only battery can go 10+ dys..

and i’m going to buy the galaxy s2 thi... moreI don't know about the (G) one, but it seems much the same, but what ever,I know that the galaxy s2(I9100) is one of the best 2011 smart phones,I choose it for one of my friends who was thinking to buy HTC Sensation or samsung galaxy s2, as I know it's one of the fastest available phones, with one of best 8mp camera in the two sections (photo and recording hd ) plus the many adjustments you can do with it, the super AMOLED plus is amazing, it plays any video formats including dvd files out of the box (meaning you don't need to download codes) with one of the best video player program s available on phone, the only problem with it (like any other galaxy model) its all plastic body, despite that it's a great phone,I like it very very much , and were choose it if I were you
Note:
The battery life is an issue of any android phone

Hi,I’m from Egypt
and i’m going to buy the galaxy s2 this week but I don’t know what to choose I9100 or I9100G ??
and all the mobile shop sellers had told me that the G version has a hang issue and i really want a phone that doesn't get heated easily and has more battery life ???
also I heard that android 2.3.5 fixed the battery drain in the non G version(I9100) ??
so can all who have the G version advice me if they still facing problems with their mobile till now ???
and which is the best ??
please reply as soon as possible…

Hi,Please tell me how to solve this problem....I bought SGS2 I9100G and upgraded to 2.3.6.Now the handset is not connecting with Kies....When I connect the device to my laptop simply it is showing "Found New hardware".Please help me out....?

I have got a GT-9100 and a couple of weeks ago my bro got GT-I9100G. I ordered it for my bro from Indian Online shopping website flipkart.com. So,we got the product and after we started comparing the firmware version I saw the GT-I9100G I immediately googled it. Some website had bench-marked the both versions and their conclusion was I9100G is the inferior to I9100. I felt kinda ashamed and my bro kicked my arse. Finally I thought let's do some testing. I bench-marked both versions and found that the results are actually quite similar. Processor on I9100 always runs on full throttle all the time i.e 1.2GHz while on GT19100 it's improved. it actually scales on 300MHz 600MHz 800MHz MHz and finally MHz(1.2GHz) it shifts to these frequencies according to the processing load, thereby saving your precious battery. About the GPU:
I9100 houses a ARM Mali400 while I9100G houses a POWERVRSGX 540 (same as in LG Optimus 3D). Actually the chipset on I9100G is the same as Optimus 3D. Here in the GPU portion it is of course lags bit behind ARM's Maali400. But it's more programmer friendly and has high compatibility with apps than Samsung's Exynos Chipset which require apps specifically to be made for it.
PowerVR540 is ofcourse an antique if compared to Maali400. Maali400 is a beast. but has its limitations as well. (high power dissipation)
Now the theory is over. I Antutu Bench-marked both versions and I was amazed to see I9100G scored 6200 points when running on full throttle GHz while my I9100 scored only 5838 points (actually scores vary each time I benchmark them lol it's kinda funny).
Finally my conclusion is both versions have pros and cons.
My I9100 during peak load time for example gaming it almost becomes untouchable (nearly melts lol kidding) but it becomes hot as hell.
My bro's I9100G never becomes hot even when playing high quality games.
Battery on my I9100 40% less as compared to my bro's I9100G.
Rest the display and other specs are same. I think Samsung has improved their new version of Galaxy SII.
Finally my bro is happy with me :)
About Ice Cream Sandwich Update It will be released simultaneously for both the versions I believe Samsung will never disappoint it's customers huh?
Don't believe in RUMORS. Test your devices yourself.
These RUMORS are just business games played by rivals of SAMSUNG.

AnonD-42008, 12 Feb 2012i wanna replace g version with the original version?what ar... morebro keep mailing to Samsung India customer support(support.india@samsung.com) !they will say i9100g is new version ..bla bla...after that they wont respond... mail them again by saying you gonna sue them ..they will give u call and say if u agree we could replace i9100g with i9100 ..say yes ..they will say ur phone will be replaced with in 10 days !! and yes it is free :)
