I was charging my phone late at night and unplugged it by morning when I tried to turn it on, it wont let me and it doesn't even charge or connect to my pc. please help meeeeee I tried everything hard reset soft reset holding power button for 5-10 seconds(morethan)i even tried removing the battery please I need help....

hi...i have d same problem with my galaxy R...d phone shuts off anytime jus all of a sudden and doesnt even turn on immediately...only after keepin it off for a while it starts working again..
can u pls tell me how to reflash stock firmware...i m unaware of dis stuff and wanna get rid of this problem asap ....

Great handset with latest dual core doing good job .
I am glad it's in good condition till now as I really run my phone to it's limit ,it's not failed as of now ,it's a phone which compete with best hardware for all other products .worth it

Samtec, 24 Jul 2012my Galaxy R came with only 700 MB of RAM instead of 1 GB , ... moreAlthough it is 1GB it will be 700MB only...same with internal memory also.

i was also facing the same problem, i bought my fone on end of jan 2012. i re-flashed stock firmware..... its 15--20 days now m not facing shutdown problems ,,,,hope its the solution

Thank you very much for sharing all these valuable informations about this great phone. I have been using galaxy R since six months and I am very happy and comfortable with this phone. I have got a doubt and I humbly request you that any one of you please clear my doubt.
" Did samsung officially declare that they will give ICS update to galaxy R and if they do when will it be for Indian market? "

Thank you very much for all those who provided valuable information here about samsung galaxy R. I have been using this phone since six months and I am very happy with this phone. The only thing I want to know is that ''will they give ICS update for this phone '' and if they have plans to give update when they will give it for India.

Great handset last 6 months use still on Gingerbread 2.3.5!No complaints!Do want upgrade to ICS as will lose use of Flash player

i am using Galaxy R Phone for like 4 months and the only problem is some times the touchscreen doesnot work well. i.e when you touch on a button something else will come. other than that its great.
