Pradeep, 05 Mar 2012VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS PHONE:
I am using I9103 for ove... moresame here.faced issue with the galaxy r from the very second day.within 10 days my phone was dead.got 2 know from service center that my mother board is gone.replced in 4 days ,but still after that i got lots of issues with the head phone jack and phone automatically shutting down and screen blank out and all.
it's really a wastage to go for such a mobile.(my personal exp.

the screen blanck out is a feature as it saves the battery while talking or keeping near the ears
if you are not talking or keeping in your hand horizontally the screen will appear automatically

Been using the phone for 2 months now. No lags still now. Bought it for 19000/- and the price is still the same infact most of the sites including the one which i brought it from are selling it now at 1000/- costlier. Great Buy especially if you dont have the extra 10000/- bucks to but the s2 or the note

Galaxy R .after using this mobile for 1 n half month...
I proudly say that this is the best available phone in the market for the price u pay.i do not have any issues what so ever the screen turning off i faced initially whwn battery is 10percent..no hanging.camera is good.texting IS a pleasure...c how big review in typing..lol.browsing also coz of sexy processor.practically speaking guys this is extravaganza...1ghz dualcore is brilliant...no lag what so ever.....music amazing...the headphones given are of high quality.........
Totally in a nut shell this is a brilliant phone samsung has ceased the production of this phone so as to change the name and sell it around 28grand again....(samsung galaxy s Advance).
So those who r thinkin just go for it guys....
Regarding where to buy.i brought this product from a local shop....not a branded store i got it for 20.so it depends on ur talent.mind u this is no more available in store...try ur luck in local stores.u will definitely get it.take it if it is even 21...
Good luck. Lastly what a phone.proudly better than iphone...any day including specifications....tegra 2 baby...

I think there are problems existing with the units sold in India ... So far, the units sold here (in KSA) has no problems ... :)

VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS PHONE:
I am using I9103 for over 3 months. When it was 2 months, the phone turns off automatically. The frequency of this problem increased (2.5 months from the purchase) and then I took to the service station they said Motherboard is gone!!! When i pay 1/4 of a Lack of rupee and the mother board is gone!!! Ridiculous.... But they replaced it in 4 days. After that the problem has reduced. But now i started facing the problem again. I am really pissed off with this phone.

Samsung Galaxy R is discontinued as said / reported by users...so whats the future for development on our Samsung Galaxy R...is it Discontinued ???

[deleted post]i 2 own a galaxy r,which i bought 1 month ago.i am also facing similar issue .my mobile turned off automatically on 3/3/12 .i am unable to turn it on now.I am yet to go to the service centre

This is very poor model...hanging problem....battery problem....sometime u eject headphone sound not comes from earpiece.....

Since last week i was unable to turn on the phone, and i went my nearest samsung service centre. They said the mother board got some complaint, and they will replace it within 2 weeks. I'm still waiting frm my phone.
