hai i am using this phone for 1 month but now it has some problems.1)my phone turns off when downloding .2)
now when i am turning it on its not coming, a sound comes like dirrrrrrrrrrrr and again turns off. i cant open my phone

Battery draining in standby mode..gps,bluetooth,2g all shut but still battery draining..wht is the solution...please help me...

i m gona buy galaxy r which i selected after so much of wandering..actualy i did find it as a good option coz at the price of 21 its available with all options almost similar to galaxy s2.till now i dint started using it,,rest of story after use,,,!!:;-)

Hi Guyz .... this is the good phone which have NVidia Tegra 2 Chipset which good for play game and long last. i owned this phone for 3 months ready... after update firmware to 2.3.6 and flash kernel ardatdat v1.5, the phone working perfect !!! u all wanna know it then feel it.. really awesome !!!!

One of my friend is getting 30-80kbps speed on Nokia 5235 but on the same network provider at the same place I am getting speed of mere 5-25kbps on my galaxy R. It makes me so much frustated. It makes me so much humiliated that on the same 3G network he is getting double speed while my double (better tripple) priced phone is giving less than half speed :'(

When a handset does not work as stated then we have to take it to the service for replacement. If you don't know where the service center is then you should use GOOGLE.
I hope you now can understand the meaning of warranty.

i buy galaxy r and i used only for two weeks because it switch off always automatically when i put Sim card.rubbish phone don't buy it!!!!!

Awesome phone..
Bought it on 31 Jan 12 from Ebay for 20990/-.
Working great since then. Every thing is there in this phone. No any scope of Criticism from an ordinary user point of view. Some of the Goodies are:
1) Great Speed of Dual core
2) Good battery Life
3) Nice Camera + Flash + HD recording quality of which can be seen up hand with any another phone in this range like Galaxy S or Galaxy S Plus
4) Samsung Social Hub enabling Push Mail and Instant Messaging which enables these functions without Background Data on...so battery is saved much more...
5) Last but not least every single experience of this phone is great like scrolling, size in your palm, music quality.
Worth to go for.

Have been using this phone for 8 days. The battery lasts more than a day even though I have wifi and 3g on for most time and the screen on medium brightness.
Only once while running this phone the screen blacked out while I removed the USB charger without "safely remove" from windows, but it was fine after powering off and then powering on again. I had similar issues with Samsung Ace also, and I have heard same happens with Samsung S2 also, so please dont think this is an issue specific to this phone.
I also found no major issues with the accelerometer.
The GPS receiver locks on very fast even from within the car, whereas for my older phone I had to wait 2-5 minutes, in this phone it does so within a minute.
The processing power of the phone is great, in general it is very responsive due to dual core CPU. I have installed almost 60 apps and all of them work flawlessly. I have made video calls using Skype and my front camera over wifi and it worked like a charm.
Further you can make free voice calls (even using a 2G data plan) using Viber quite satisfactorily.

went to market yesterday to buy this phone, but the shopkeepers say that is has been discontinued in india at least as there is simply no sale as compared to S2.
