Guys...all retailers and online sites are telling its out of stock...samsung local dealer said PRODUCTION OF SGR IS STOPPED....is this real...????
Please suggest me a good alternative in the range of 25k.....

Please dont take it personal... Everyone have the right to express his reviews , and dont think that only certain' people knows to handle smart phones ...
Any way these reviews only helped me to get the phone replaced under warranty.

Rambo, 08 Feb 2012After more than month usage, my Galaxy R screen gone blank ... moreI also have faced same problem, remove battery from the mobile and SIM card after 10 – 15 Min put battery and switch it on, It will start now put your SIM card, everything will be fine now.

ANTONY, 06 Feb 2012within 4 days time I had some issue on my Galaxy R - Afte... moreProblem with no sound on speaker is because of earphone's socket. So it happens somethimes after using of earphone. Next time when happen connect and then disconnect earpone jack, problem will dissappear.

I had one question after reading all reviews "is this phone really having problems"? Help me out of here cause i am going to buy it,..

Almost similar to s2 ... moreTHe points which u have told are wrong ..........
First - the screen of sony ericsson neo v is much more responsive than galaxy r .
Second - In moderate use the sony ericsson neo v gives 2 days battery bck up.
Third - The Neo v is getting ics update in march.
Fourth - The screen size of galaxy r is bigger but the screen of neo v has a higher ppi.
Finally - The sony ericsson timescape ui is much better than the touch wiz crap which samsung has .

For people looking to buy this phone - Go ahead & buy this high quality at a low price phone, this model doesn't have any of the problems people have been writing over here. You never know these people might be making them up to avoid people from buying this cell. Get this ASAP ! :)
For those writing without putting any thought to it . . .
Most of these people who are complaining don't know how to use a smartfone or it is their first quality smartphone which is why they are facing issues.
Regarding the battery getting heated, don't use the cellphone while charging and the battrry heating up a bit is normal with the smartphones wiith a high capacity battery. What the heck even Samsung Galaxy S2 heats up a bit when being charged. So first get your facts cleared before posting anything you feel and degrading the quality of the phone.

Using it from dec. No problem, works fine. Best smartphone ever used. However, internal sd write speed only 4MB/s, less compared to galaxy s2.

2. Had problem of ... morestop spreading bad stuff about phone when you dont know how to use one...
>the proximity sensor must be blocked by your hand so u dont see any display when phone rings.
>install ATK and see your batt backup go high,turn off wifi and mobile data when not required.
>Display going blank does occur...but its very rare..can live with it.

Samsung I9103 Galaxy R is not 440 Euros. It is available for 21,000 INR which is about 325 Euros.
