sometimes when am using facebook on my phone. my phone automatically switch off.this switch iff problem willl come 2 to 3 times.. plz tell how to fix this problem ..am already update the new ics version..plzzzz

Yes the battery back up has improved. Especially for stand by
Not to mention the overall smoothness
Touch has improved
And the camera that used to crash seems to have become smooth
The camera has new options for panorama and action mode
One request
When you do update to ICS, do reset your phone and make A back up of data. Also keep the internal memory as less crowded as possible

after updating to ics the battery performance has gone very bad .i used to get full day now even if phone is idle the battery is draining very fast.please who want to update from gb to ics be aware of this problem.i hope samsung fixes the problem i am very dissapointed right now.wait for few days and i will review again.

satyam, 13 Jan 2013anybody who have updated ics on galaxy r is it running smoo... moreDid the ICS upgrde on OTA no battery issues infasct life has improved before while using 2.3.5 GB I used to get max 99% battery now even after unplugging it is at 00% for minimum 30-40 mins then slowly dropps if I dont use internet then it comes down to 97-96% by EOD.Thank god upgrade was good and no issues.

I installed jelly bean on my galaxy R i9103.
It has some bugs. but its working fine.....

thank you Samsung for Keeping your word. I was beginning to feel that this being a low selling productin India won't see ICS update
I reset my phone after the update, perhaps I should format my internal AD card as well
Will post the response to ICS soon
Hope the battery bug isn't there, as mentioned in comments. Wifi is working well

Avoid it.
Also if you restrict background data, whats app notifications will stop. Whatsapp message will be received only if whatsapp is on.
Hence you will have to keep it on also. Hence mose battery drain.
