How any mobile gets obsolete within 03 months?
And now this 4.2.2 mess,which is created by samsung themselves.
Again,phone like s3 mini and grand r said to be getting jb kitkat 4.4.2 update,and here s2 plus is not even updated to 4.2.2 universally.This shows samsung has become too greedy careless about its customers.Though with same customers samsung has come up.Also note,s2 plus is capable of update to 4.2.2 and even 4.4.2.
This is the Samsung way of treating its customers.

I Never Buy any Samsung Phone FOREVER because they are now only focus on their Selling Segment instead to fullfil Customers basic requirement i.e OS Updates. I am Very Disappointed that Samsung Discontinued its Only 1 Year Old Galaxy S2 Plus without Providing 4.4 Kitkat OS. (Even failed to Update 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 OS in Pakistan & Some Countries). In this Way now Its Clear Message from Samsung for their Buyers to Switch to Other Manufactures. Its a Suggestion to All of You to BOYCOT Samsung Products.

http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9105P , Try visit this page to update from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 via download, u can select any country for example germany, then u can google how to update i9105 to 4.2.
WARNING: UPDATING MANUALY MAY LOST YOUR WARRANTY, SO CHOOSE YOUR DECISION WISELY
quick step by step:
1)download the 4.2.2 stock rom from link above
2)download odin (http://uploaded.net/file/m9edxzk9)
3)THen install odin and open it,
4)connect your mobile via usb cable and let odin dectect it
5) Restart your phone then before the samsung logo appeear press and hold power button + home button + volume key down until it show the menu display, press volume up
6) click the ''PDA'' button then choose the stock rom you have download
7) then click start and the phone will install 4.2.2 jb then it will restart itself and it will guide you step by step on ow to configure your mobile...

Can anybody tell me where to find to download android 4.2.2? because i asked on samsung webpage, will be available 4.2.2 for Poland, and they first said that they don't know, and later that it wont, because it will violate warranty, something like that.. I would like to have that version, but I dont want to pay someone to do that, i would like to do that by myself, but i am afraid that i would damage my phone, i have never done that..

According to SAMMobile, the official website of Samsung, the update currently available in those countries; Germany, Russia, India, spain, Netherlands, Austia and Italy only, this firmware update was delivered in 2013, but in 2014 its seems that there is no update yet. check www.sammobile.com

my phone is galaxy s2 plus im using this phone only for watsup and some games. but im not getting battery life more than 12 hours...65% of battery drain by media server. i searched allot in the net for a solution, but still not find a useful one, what is media server? how i can extend my battery life, please anybody help me to solve this
