It's big good move from Samsung marketing :) It is the same phone!
SGS II can operate with 64GB microSD card too!
....so what is the difreent.. : worst chipset and blue cover. No make sense wait for this phone.
I waited for something newest/better than SGSII, maybe a little bit difreent cover :(

madpanas, 12 Jan 2013another useless android phone -it"s imposible to make ... moreJust go and get the Pantech Burst or the Pantech Flex. I call all over the world on Skype. RUn Watsapp, as well as 10+ other apps. No problem. They even give you instructions on the site how to upgrade to ICS.
4in display, 1.5ghz Snapdragon. But the one gig of Ram is what convinced me.

Apple makes a cheaper 8GB version of their previous-gen iphone and it's OK. Samsung does the same and it is a stupid move lol.

hello keshmoneyian we are talking about phones not for my education-do you kgnow that my friend whit samsung galaxy s3 is very angry of fact that is imposible to download working skype for videocall and give 520euro for this piece of shit.and vidocall is not only problem-bad dispay,loosing of connection.and i whit my old iphone for 100L from e-bay england nawe no singal problem.what you espected from new galaxy s2 plus-old galaxy s2 had big problem-loose net and phone calls was bad.so my friend my university is real live-street of former komunist block country

Hey... I'm all for diversity, but this is over-doing it... Like Sony for example, Samsung's just selling the same kind of pea-soup with different salt percentage. They're not even changing the salt type, just micrograms of how much they put in...

I have that option on my SE Xperia Neo. Although as far as the front of the camera, you're right, not great resolution, but still possible to video call. There must be a reason why samsung is doing that, we'll see.
