How is this SGS2 plus! What is the plus side? If anything, it's lesser in that the internal storage has been reduced and nothing has been added. SGS2 can be easily upgraded to JB so this is SGS2 minus!

So much commotion! But I'm joining you guys. I'm holding a second hand gs2. The only thing i will like about they gs2 plus is the micro sd slot up to 64 gb. Other than that, good luck. Gs2 plus has actually a minus. On the go USB is very essential, its the fastest mode of file transfer.
Besides 64 gb micro SD is still hard to come especially here in one of the Province of the Philippines.

Well Super Amoled Plus is already something.
Over S3 I would still love to have S2. If S2+ comes with better audio chip, it would be my choice than any other smartphone

This is not the sgs2 plus . It's a sgs2 minus. Ppi 217 in 4.3 inch display thats old.nothing is there to be proud of.

Samsung will die under it's Own Galaxy Series.
Not it seems they are much over confident.
S 2 plus is not plus, if it is plus than it should comes up with higher Specs, Same old Specs, So what is new in it..

Lol april fool ? ......at least make 1.5 dual core krait and add some density such as 250ppi or sth..this s2 plus just jokes same spec and only replaced new screen using wvga..ah common It's 2013 god sake...

Its the same as the I9100 , i dont know why
they did this phone, even the I9100 has super
amoled plus but this is jux super amoled and
it only comes with 8Gig internal memory..poor
thing they did since it was Plus and we are in
2013, i was thinkin something higher
specs..failed..am still using my I9100 s2 on jelly bean 4.1.2 leaked version and its amazing..this is very bad..Samsumg WHY?

This phone has GLONASS support the older one hasn't. I am not sure whether the old S2 will get any update after jelly bean but this one surely will.

obviously the point of the release of this device is: Samsung is not going to update galaxy s2 anymore, if you want the updates, you'll have to buy a brand new device.
