The network drops and sometimes one of the SIM card gives a "not available" response to callers !!! I am at my wits end about this and was wondering if mine is an isolated unit. I thinking of buying s4 mini this month.But since s4mini have many problems. May be I wait for sony xperia z1mini .Sony z1 mini going to launch this few months.

Nice phone, have it for about a week. It is quick enough, very nice in hand, slim, nice looking, very light. Battery doesn't get hot for my 9195 as i read other comments. It is true that it last only one day, but most smartphones i think are like this. for my use (moderate, some photos, facebook, etc) last for 1 day and at the end of the day i still have 30% left. What i didn't like was the camera quality, which was maybe worse than SII! Also lacks a macro mode. In general, it is a nice phone to have.

Asif, 07 Oct 2013I read in different views that manually selecting the netwo... moreMr.Asif , initially I had it set to automatic selection mode but NETWORK PROBLEM was there. Then on 30-9-2013 the Samsung care told me to set it manually and I set it accordingly but the Non-recovery of Network Problem is still there. Wish SAMSUNG shall provide the solution, to call this nice piece GT-I9192 a real MOBILE Phone. Otherwise it is still a Phone that works fine in the Mode of a STATIONARY Phone doing all the Network jobs in a nice way.

SONY xperia sp has 8960t snapdragon pro with adreno 320 gpu while s4 mini has low gpu compared to sp, s4 mini has lower pixel density (ppi) and sp has 319 with 1280*720 pixel resolution go for sp its great xperia sp is low cost while compared to s4 mini

I read in different views that manually selecting the network is the root cause of this issue.
If you set the network detection method to automatic then you don't face this issue.
If this is of any help then do let me know

I'm having second thoughts on buying the s4 mini because of negative comments especially on the network issues. Has this issue already been addressed by Samsung? What actions is Samsung doing about this? Why is Samsung releasing this kind of defective model?

I am having network problems with my mobile Samsung S4 mini.I went to Samsung Customer Care Center and they have assured that Samsung Korea is testing a new Software for the network problems.This shall be available shortly for download.

S4 Mini have a serious issue of NETWORK problem.Full signal bars are shown yet no connectivity also when signal gone the its couldn't get the signal automatically .afterthat you need to restart the phone (at that very place) to get the connectivity.
i am suffering this problem but Samsung can't any solution from this problem .
