also the s4 mini has better camera than xperia z although it uses only 8 MP :

the battery performance of the mini is better with amazingly 13:12h video playback while xperia z only lasts for 5:39h of video playback.
i don't think that nokia 185 g is better deal ,may be u mean heavier deal ;)
i can't describe people who buy the S4 mini as stupid people because the mini has nice features collected in small body that hard to find in other phones.

its just reached my country, i was expecting it will be nearly half the price or atleat 75% of S4 at launch will go down later
but to surprice yesterday in the same store S4 is 533 dollars vs S4 mini at 453 dollars, so the idea of downside, its price speaks for it, one thing to mention the store ahad earlier price of S3 as 420 dollars but just increased it to 453 dollars may be they want to sell s4mini, but no stupid is going to buy samsung then, an android lover will shift to xperia z at 500 dollars at same store price or htc desire 600 for price of 400 dollars, samsung has now so many devices that it soon is going to destroy its name, bcz all are same design, and now people want to go aither to sony or htc, or if some one is satidfied with a big change few are going to nokia lumia 920 at 453 dollars, very better deal

In a country like India where people are obsessed with bigger screens and dual sim phones (thanks to mega and canvas series), I am starting to think if Samsung has made a mistake in launching S4 mini in India. They skipped with S3 mini earlier this year and it was clear that market was already getting over-populated with Samsung phones and they did not wanted too many products chasing few customers.
Market positioning is an important aspect when you launch a product. "Where would you place S4 mini? -- a higher end phone?" Where does that leaves S4, S3 or even mega series then. Now, "will you call S4 mini upper mid segment at such whopping price?" Excuse me, Indian people are very much price conscious and have lot of options to choose from.
Now, what is the solution or could have done? -- after thinking about whole scenario, one idea crossed my mind but its too late now to realize it. Samsung should have sticked around with S2 plus model for longer period (S2 plus died a premature death and if Samsung says that it resembled too much of 2011'ish, then I'll ask why did you (re)launched it in 2013? Only if Samsung could have persisted with S2 plus for longer and would have launched S4mini dual sim version in India during Diwali festival at sensible price, it could have hit the jackpot.
Now S4 mini will either hit the sales figure of S4, S3 or will not sell itself at all. Its time for Samsung to reshuffle their marketing team for Indian operations (if they have any). I may serve them as an adviser on a honorarium basis if they wish to ask for my services.

I have checked every settings menu on the S4 Mini and it doesn't appear anywhere. I'm wondering if this device even has this option. Do you own an S4 Mini? Maybe my device has a flaw.

I really like the feeling of the phone.
It fits your hand perfectly and can reach everything.
Too bad it doesn't have light notification when the SIII mini has it. The S4 Mini has a lot of plastic though. same thing with the S4. I am a Samsung fan but come on man. Why shouldn't this have that notification light like the others?
