Great phone. I've had some problems but not enough to complain too much. A couple friends have had issues with it. Maybe all phones types are like that. Some are lemons, some are great with each brand/type/modle

The greatest + about this phone is it's versatility, largely contributed by the underrated IR.
A great midrange mobile phone.
It gives a great flexible experience.

Got it one year ago. I would suggest it to anyone. One of best phones I got since ever. The only thing I have to complain about is battery get warm a lot if you push for your phone with games or hard apps.

I just bought this phone.I am yet to see how it performs but I have already received some bad comments from friends that it freezes.

Hi, I have successfully updated my Galaxy S4 mini into Android 4.4.2 over the air. Now the phone is very good. Even the battery life seems to be pretty good. Before you download and install the update,make sure the phone has adequate battery power and strong signals for mobile data/wifi.

There's an alternate variant of this model which came out back in March. Galaxy S4 Mini VE I9192I (I9195I with LTE also available).
New version has the following differences:
* SoC: Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916
* CPU: Quad-core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A53
* GPU: Adreno 306
* OS: Android OS, v4.4.4 (KitKat)
The rest is the same as old variants from 2013.

On 2 phones i had this problem with batery draning and i was taking them to service twice and they said that phone is ok.
They suggested changing sim. And it works great!! 2 days of heavy using!! (On my sony z1 comp)

I had a Samsung Mini for a year now, great little phone, the biggest complaint is the battery life if you use it for data and texting etc for about 4 hours its all over.
i am thinking of going to S6 or an edge now but the note4 is a bigger processor however the 8 mg pix on the mini as apposed to the 16 mg pixel on the s6 is tempting and a slightly bigger screen, gone from 1.6 dual core to 1.5 quod core, so must be faster too i guess. Hard decision.

I have s4 mini 9192 its awesome phn..they phn hv mny features like 1.5Gb ram 1.7GHZ duL core 4G..i prchsd 28/sep/2014 ..
but lst update version 4.4.2 ..kikkat but i can do 5.o android version but desi language jugaad ...yes now still sme dys my phn bttry performing not gud..i dnt knw why? ?? i was thinking aaa i should chnge the battryy .i want more mAh btry like 2600 mah..
and baki alll most gud phn.
