Finally, Finally!!!
Two weeks ago I got my upgrade to 4.4.2 kitkat from 4.2.2 jelly bean.
Battery has additional time of 30%
More fluidity
Only that the colour frame panel at the top that shows network signal,
battery meter, time is now whitish unlike the normal green and blue colours.
But the overall performance is great!

Clear your samsung memory by doing this step:
1.Open dial pad
2.Type *#9900#
3.Click on Run dumpstate/logcat/modem log
4.Click on Delete dumpstate/logcat
5.Click on Run dumpstate/logcat

I have this s4 mini, haven't loaded its memory with data but still keeps indicating low on disc space. its 16gb and cannot support let alone snapshot. kindly advice

I acquired an s4 mini from a person. it wasn't so old either. it ever claims that it's memory is insufficient. I tried to restore factory but the problem remains. what do I do to have the memory back? thanks

A new battery record for me, my S4mini is on battery for 4days 14hours 11minutes and still has 31% battery left!
Could easily last a day more without charging but I have to connect it to USB now.
I've made a screenshot of it.
Still puzzled why it lasts three times as long as my former S4mini, both had 4.4.2 and the same apps.
I see a little bit more recent baseband/build/kernel versions:
Baseband I9195XXUCNK4
Kernel 3.4.0-3330432
Buildnr KOT49H.I9195XXUCNK4
Maybe someone else has the same experience with this version?

I'm using Galaxy S4 Mini for more than a year. Excellent. Shoot pictures with voice commands. Changes from Foto to video camera with command: "Record Video". Power button in the wrong place - that's the only complaint.

install the official firmware.after installing the firmware just do the full reset of your phone.then again install the same firmware.then do not reset your device.then charge it fully.first 5 to 10 mins it is simply heated.don't get tension.from the next time you do not get any heat and charging.your problem will 100% solved.
