Nice phone. Every thing is working nicely. But the main problem is battery life. Samsung galaxy s4 mini has poor battery life. All the time you have to bring extra battery or any extra phone. If you are one phone user don't buy s4 mini because it's never going to give you support all day for poor battery life.

Good phone. Using it is for the last 5 months. No disturbance and works fast, as it has 1.5 GB RAM.
I love it. Very nice.

You can look here http://live.samsung-updates.com/ about when the update will be release amd you will get it automatically. if you are using wifi.

Hi,
Any body got the kitkat update in UAE for s4 mini i9190, my current version is Jellybean (4.2.2 ) and it's draining battery fast in standby mode (aprox.40%)

I know someone who have i9190 and after by wrong he updated his phone(not to a different firmware version just update but the same firmware version) before upadte battery could stay standby around 2-3 days now only for some hours. Less than 20h.

I had two bitter experience. Just after purchase while using, the phone slides through my dhoti and fell on the ground. When I took up, there was chaotic lighting on the screen and a dark spot. The dark spot later developed and the screen became dark. Since it was purchased in USA,the Indian dealers and customer service refused to do the repair under warranty. But they were ready to do the repair on payment. I sent the phone to USA. The customer care in Atlanta informed us that the phone was manufactured in Korea and hence cannot be repaired.It was purchased through Amazon.com and its customer care asked us to send the phone by safe method to some address. The sending itself cost too much. Again we brought the phone to India and repaired it in Chennai. We had to pay one third of its cost for the screen replacement. They are not ready to repair the parts.
2. After setting the phone right, I updated the OS. After that, I inserted the headset to listen to a song. But even after removing it, it showed the inserted earphone icon and I could not answer the call. I had to make the speaker always on as the phone behaved as if the headset is inserted. I took it again to the customer care. They tried level best and said they could not do anything. They suggested setting it to factory reset, by installing the factory OS. It worked. But I had to install all applications. Luckily I had the contacts synced. Now I am scared of using a headset.
Samsung must inform the customers why it is refusing to give international warranty.
Why it is not looking into the parts instead, change the entire screen or board.
