I have been using this phone for over 6 months now and let me tell you, its a great phone. While searching for this particular phone, my criteria's were that the phone should not be bulky, have all the features of a smart phone, should last me a day and I pleasantly surprised that it met my requirement.
Finally, a great phone, good features.

A friend has Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Vodafone Version which is open to any network.
Can anyone say when 4.3 or 4.4.2 Kitkat is being made available in UK for my friends phone?

It works very fine. one hand smartly operating with smart camera in day light, during evening 'Night" version works very well. No lags with all different functions (3G video call and so many option in call & SMS) makes it worth buying.

The phone restarting issue could be a abttery issue, you need batteries whith near field communication writen in it, probably not a motherboard issue

got it yesterday. awesome phone. it is a complete package. very good. battery is good compared to other android phones. 1.5 GB ram and the super cool display with the awesome camera just makes it fabulous.
it's a bit small in size, however, for ppl who dnt have a prb with that, u can definitely go 4 it.

I have a S9192, bought in Singapore 7 months back. Suddenly the phone started shutting down automatically and that too unpredictably. Service center updated the software, but the problem remained the same. They now state that the motherboard needs replacement and it seems that international warranty is not applicable in Chennai, India. Has anybody encountered the same problem and what was the solution>
