I received update in november. It was i9295xxucne4. In the start of january i received another 144 mb update and the firmware is now i9295xxucnk4. The gps icon changed into location icon. Battery life improved also. My phone has android of nordic countries NEE. So far no problems. I had no audio on calls while i was using jellybean which only solved whrn i received these updates OTA

Have AT&T Version unlocked to use on other networks and can't use the phone to tether / hot spot. Blocked by At&T software. Any solution to this? Root?

Firm... moreSuppose Kies detect it as i9295. Mine is updated to Kitkat via OTA, means I manually upgrade at phone's "System Update".
Still, this is good phone. Use it without much issue. With all the Samsung goodies, with much low profile outlook.

A.K, 13 Jan 2015There is no 4.4 kitkat update for S4 active(AT&T) model Impossible, S4 Active Kitkat update has around since June 2014 last year, try updating your phone through Kies (need a PC) or OTA Update. Majority of S4 Active users worldwide are now enjoying the 4.4.2 update and soon the 5.0 update (Lollipop).
