BTW, Sony was not the first with the waterproof feature, there were phones long before them who came out with it. Sony just incorporated it in their newest design. Samsung does what no other company can do, blend in all the best features and make the best damn phone available to the masses. Plus increase processor speed. Yes, although their design has not changed, its what's inside that counts. The S4 is a beast. How about their continuous effort to increase battery life for you?? How important is battery life to most of you??

Since Samsung isn't capable of innovation, their competitors should do all the thinking for them, wright..? Come on man, I'm not trying to favor Sony, LG or Apple here. It's ok to get ideas from others up to some extent. But they should try to include at least one of their own to make their product unique in the market. They might sell their product by doing that. But, all I'm saying is, it's not ethical to do so.

As consumers, having all the good features of other phone, combined into one and made even better is a benefit... and we should be happy for that... Would you rather buy LG to have that face detection technology, buy Sony just to have that water-proof feature? and so on... you will not be happy with a cellphone that combines all the great features.. unless you are paid by another maker :) Peace!!!

I guess you don't realise that all they have done is designed another rugged handset that conforms to an international standard. Samsung like all the other major players have been doing this for years.

I can't believe Samsung. This is so ridiculous. All they do is copy others ideas and include them in their phones. They are not capable of innovation. They copied LG's Face detection technology and included in GS4. Copied Sony's "floating touch" tech and named it as "Air Gestures". And finally they made their flagship waterproof which is Sony XZ's key marketing factor. And in the past also if you guys remember they lost a patent case against Apple. They are not capable of thinking. All they can do is increase the processing power and continue with the same crappy design while copying others ideas.

Its nice to see more companies following Sony's lead at making high end water resistant mobiles.
This has the opportunity to become the very best.
I do not understand why Samsung had to compromise the camera though!?!
I really cant guess any reason, cost should not be a problem, neither water resistance.
It either has to do with dimensions or for internal policy, so what it will leave some space to the S4 flagship.
I m really curious about its dimensions though, i believe that this will determine if its better than the Z or not.
The XZ clearly has a much more prestigious design nad this seems to have marginally better specs (apart from the camera and the lack of FM radio)
There is no reason to debate for those two, everybody has the priorities and personal taste. Its always nice to have more options and Samsung conviently let some space for both the Z and the S4.

S4 jus freakin amazing that fone...i hope blogs and people stop blabing on about S4 design.its a best seller what do they expect.i bet if S4 came out looking like xperia z they wouldnt have sold half the amount

It's actually of 4.59 inch as in leaked photos antutu benchmark shows a pixel density of 480 p.p.i with resolution of 1080*1920.
