quad core does not mean it runs four times a single core in phones.
it means for ex: dual core 1.2ghz is equal to 1.4 to 1.5ghz single core on behalf of its performance.
many cores consume a lot of battery so we wud end up battery by 8 to 10 hrs optimum usage.(3g,wifi)

Didn't you re... moreI'm still on single core sir/mam, quite frankly just with an xperia x8 by Sony, but still, majority of the applications I need, be it games, organizer app, tools, surveillance apps, etc, runs fine; my phone has been with me for nearly two years now, and still I don't see the need to replace it, and even if I do, The ones in my wish list are xperia ray, neo v and xperia s(dual core)...
And as I've said, instead of spitting a nonsense counter to my statement, why don't you at least present a list of applications that will not work fine on a single core. Make it long so that I will be enlightened...

At first I was to judge that the device didn't have a good look to it or the quality material they use but the more I look at it and watch reviews the more I'm actually finding myself liking it. Not all phones need to be made of glass and metal, both glass and steel have no flexibility to sustain a fall and 95% of the time will shatter or break, hard plastic will to but not as much glass will.
The specs in this mobile are amazing and Samsung have improved a lot in fluidity in this mobile. I use an iPhone 4S at the moment but am getting quiet bored with it and it's 3.5" screen which is so 2008 lol, and let's face it your not going to see a 4.3" or plus on an iPhone for at least another 4 years, Apple will release a 4" screen next iPhone and stick to that size for as long as they can, that's their marketing strategy which for one bores me now and why I'm leaning away from there mobile device.
I used to be an Apple fanboy but have since notice there is better out there, you just have to find the right device for you. I am really liking this new model and I'm thinking of doing the jump once and for all.
Don't judge a book by its cover (design), read (look) whats in the insider;-)

smartboy, 09 May 2012 i read everything on this phone! im using samsung galax... moreyaa u are right, lg is also doing good business with their fones!! But the features of the sIII are appealing to many people but not the looks. Even i hav used an sII but the only problem was it used to get all heated up and just inbearable to use so i brought an n9 and now my next gotto will be an sIII :-D

but i prefer samsung galaxy s2 's look compare to this!
this is not the smartest phone right now! i think lg's new flagship lte2 is more batter than this! sorry im just being honest & fair...
i love both lg& samsung !

also lg optimus lte2 is more better than this in everything! imagine 2gb ram ? great battery! so on...
im using galaxy s2 rightnow!
i think i will wait for lg's new smartphone?
