Atif, 11 Jul 2014I purchased Samsung i9300 galaxy S III and found excellent ... moreHow is this phone performing while playing 1080p and 720p video songs?. How is it performing on normal usage*?.
* means - 30 non continuous minutes of voice calls in 2G network, 50 SMS, 1 hour of online texting via WiFi and 30 minutes of online texting via 2G EDGE?.
Hoe much hours does the battery of this phone last based on thenabove mentioned normal usage?.

I purchased Samsung i9300 galaxy S III and found excellent phone. I click 7 times on built number under about phone then it's developer option was enabled. I searched/google how to hide developer option from list but I could not found solution for this phone. Ultimately I hard reset my phone. So be careful if you want to enable developer option without any need.

Samsung wants this phone, I9300I to be super hit models. Thats why it has stopped 4.4 upgrade to these phones.

Dear Samsung,
My name is SKB and I am one of those unfortunate GT-i9300 customers.
Before I begin, I would like to tell you that the S3 is the best mobile handset that Samsung has ever manufactured. It has got all the features which a smartphone consumer would ask for.
I purchased the handset in ''November 2013'' hoping that it would soon be upgraded to Android KitKat 4.4 however I was heart broken when it was announced that GT-i9300 will never be upgraded to Kitkat due to low onboard RAM.
Now I feel trapped, more because of the buggy Android 4.3 upgrade. I am sure Samsung would release an incremental update but I don''t have any hope left with that as well.
Please suggest what shall be done? I have spent Rs. 25000/-/$415+ on this handset. Is Samsung forcing me to upgrade my phone (to S5)....
Sorry to say but Samsung was never like this. It is because of it''s customers that Samsung has become the largest electronic (Mobile Phone) giant today. I have been using Samsung products since 2001 and I was always satisfied except for now.

If u wanna be increase your battery backup then go to applications manager and disable the unwanted apps or turn off them

dd, 08 Jul 2014Neo n Grand2 may lack few features of S3 but amoled screen ... moreSince I am using Nokia N8 also, I am fond of phones that have AMOLED or sAMOLED display with gorilla glass protection. Do not compare it with any phone that does not have gorilla glass. My N8 fell upside down (display facing down) two times from 3 feet on a smooth surface. Nothing happened to it !!!. Only ear piece got defective. I have enabled Nokia care protect (extra 1 year warranty only on phone). So they replaced it freely. Care protect is going to expire on the lasy week of August 2014.
You can ask your friends about the benefits of gorilla glass. I am not against Samsung G7102. Just said the fact.
Does Samsung I9300I have gorilla glass protection?.

Amoled just better color reproduction n light reflectivity n gorilla gives protection..still light reflectivity is not good on Grand2 but screen glass is solid enough.
