I still dont like the physical buttons on the bottom, I really prefer the ones on my Galaxy Nexus. And the phone looks a bit too much like a pebble.

The number of mp IS NOT IMPORTANT it is the quality of the lens, the exynos chip beats the snap dragon chip of htc its proven in tests. Quality over quantity people

Well my opinion is that S3 had nothing really that made me feel like, WOW this is the phone i want. I mean I know it will be a pretty expensive phone, and the futures it had was not like i would use everyday, i mean I do not want to talk to my phone!! Other then that the specs was nice but nothing that surprised me.
The marketing was nicely done, I think alot of people that arent so tech heavy would like the idea that they trying to sell, almost as the phone thinks for you...Does everything for you.. thats what they try to sell...
All and all this phone for me is way to big.. I mean a phone is a phone, its not a dam computer.. If i want to watch a movie i do it at my computer or on my TV, not on my phone.. I can surf some on my phone or mabey play a game now and then, see in facebook.. take pics and share.. i mean thats about it... Who cares if a phone has 1-2 cores more then another... all new phones they all run pretty smooth these days..
Im all about size and that the phone works and takes decent pictures... thats why im thinking about Xperia P.. I love the size on the phone.. and the screen is 4", thats just perfect, i do not want bigger..

It is not all that. Only 1gig of Ram, 1.4 ghz only. That is not anything to jump up and down for. The Padphone looks better, has 1.5 Ghz. Integrates into a tablet, which turns into a notebook. Now that's innovation.

Its brilliant and its awesome!
Those of you who are moaning about the IOS here please an OS can run smooth only if it has a capable hardware... if u comparing ICE cream Sandwich with IOS 5 then its totally unjustified.... S3 can perform and multitaks much better and can delievr a smooth perofmance... IOS is running on low hardware so we all know whats better and smoother...

This is a revolution given the technology. I hope that since Samsung has come up with few ground breaking technology like eye tracing etc, iPhone doesn't have an option to block them for patent infringement. The market should be free and unbiased with multiple players competing for the share in the pie. Please don't make it like Pharmaceutical mafia as general user suffers.

There is upgrade in camera also from its predecessor which is burst mode, no more missing scene in taking picture. Its a big update which I found lacking in s2 camera. 8mp is fine for me, I'm not to create advertisement banner in my phone.
