I think they build it using a different chip which is why they kept the same battery. So it should last longer than the s2. Not to mention, if the phone comes with inductive charge, then a smaller battery would be better. It will charge quicker. One funny thing I noticed. I says it comes in black, but the picture shows a white phone. I think white would be nice too.

SFAN, 29 Mar 2012You should might as well stick with Nokia's Symbian phones.... moreVoice command can never work unless totally quiet enviroment so no offices, car, street etc..

I know what you are saying but when i look at these gorgeous clamshells of Sharp with nice big screens, BUT, the precision of a D-Pad and send /end keys would be superb for me..Its just that all i see is a slab then i look at these superb design clamshells and my heart sinks.

I have been trying to get used to full touchscreens since Nokia decided to go full screen with its smartfones..The 5800 i could operate with stylus superb but from then on its was downhill..I kept accidentally brushing the screen which would do something i did not want..Also keypad input using physical qwerty is just lovely...I know that todays phones are like they are but things go in cycles and soon tiny phones will be trendy..No one will believe me but things do go in cycles and so do O/S..

When i started on smartfones (first was Nokia 3650)all that was around was ..

                              Windows,
                              Palm,
                              Series 60/80/90,Symbian,
                              Symbian UIQ,
                              Blackberry O/S if that counts.

They are now all dead so even todays O/S will die to replaced by fresher newer O/S..When fold away screens become the norm smaller fones with superb pocketability will thrive. Its the normal cycle so as you say todays smartphone is not for me ,,arghh well just have to ride the storm but definetly NOT alone.

Android, iOS, and WindowsPhone are aiming towards minimalism. People want the phone to be more intuitive. Why would you need buttons if you can do something better with voice command or hand gestures?

Using hand gestures and voice command is the future and it is damn useful.

Nokia's Symbian falls behind because it is sticking with traditional functionality so it hinders user experience.

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2012well there is 2 things LED flash saves on battery and a Qua... moreNot dumb thats an awful thing to say,,well here in UK its is awful to call someone dumb..

These things should be on these smartphones because this is their flagship smartphone..In the past a flagship smartphone had the kitchen sink thrown at it it and LED notification light is valuble to some folk but you can switch it off if you dont want it on..Its all about choice ..The LED as flash is good becuase you can use it as torch..I think Xenon flash is not available because of the capacitor in such a slim frame..

The capacitor has to be next door to Xenon flash for quite a few reason that Damian Dining went into whilst designing Nokia N8...BUT now that i have said that it is a flagship smartphone so it should have both Xenon and dual LED flash..

We wonder were or what we can add to smarphones but since the SGS2 had no Xenon or notification LED then thats 2 things to add..I would love to se a D-Pad at bottom for precison gaming and input method..I would also love real button send/end keys like on WAve to hang up properly..Also 2 step shutter key..Also mini HDMI out..What about twin memory card slots to add 64GB capacity for all your music and movies..also i little piece of plastic that folds out to create a stand and when its activated you can choose what it activates like Nokia N86,,N86 gave choice to launch media player or clock mode or calender etc..

I think it will go to 1.5GB RAM before going to full 2GB..Things go up in stages on Smartphones leaving 2GB RAM for the next round of Superphones..I have rarely run out of RAM on SGS2 if ever..
