I got the S3 as a gift and since i need a phone to tinker custom roms without the fear of bricking my other phones, it's perfect and the cfw i like more is the Lineage OS, gives the S3 another life with nougat, now it can install current apps unlike the official rom stuck on 4.3 jelly bean.

I have finally used this phone for a very long time and have NET10 service, but I got an update for 4.3 and the phone wont let me update it and keeps saying "Supposed to be AT&T network?", I already called Sammy USA and they said that I should call my respective service provider for the update. What should I do?

I just recently known that split screen was officially available on Samsung flagships starting on S3. Wow! Since 2012, Samsung users already used it! I thought split screen was just featured recently. Samsung is surely innovative! (Y)

and remember this phone was made in 2012 and even with the value of money in 2012 still cost 4 times lessss...

If Samsung relaunch this phone then I like to buy it again.
With more battery life. Good camera. Fingerprint. But in the same shape.
and 4gb ram more rom . Latest Android .

I had a chance to use this. It was amazing until the update started and battery was soon not sufficient for andriod 5. But the phone, features were excellent. I still miss it. Use this as wifi hot spot at home sometime, works fine for me. Its was not that bad, but I guess andriod update made this phone obsolete as it drains too much power.

Its been 3yrs I was using dis phone t was goin well soon got problem lyk camera stopped working nd alarm problems hence I updated to 4.3 now battery s draining lyk hell wen m using internet.der s no bulging on battery ..can anyone suggest wat I shld do nw?

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is based on LineageOS 14.1 with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
No time to test GSM radio, but works well over WiFi. OpenGapps mini set installed and 250 MB ram free ...
Looks good so far, my old S3 got second life

Hi,
My experience with Samsung s3 is negative.
It has big big problems with battery time.
The original battery blew up .
So I bought a new one. (Samsung original).
It does not hold up.
Even as standby after less then 8 hours with "no internet" it is at 5 %battry.
So for me,
No Samsung any more.

This is rabbish.i will never again buy samsung phones after experience with S3.
It is so soo slow that sometimes it is impossible make normal call.Battery bad everything is bad.

after few months this mobile became dissappointment, battery was changed like 5 times, 1 GB RAM is horrible. This mobile is made to be good one month.
