I still own this phone for 4 years and whatso months.. I LOVE YOU ve this phone and never had a problem.. except for thr fact that my scree turned greenish cause I accidentally throw it hard, i mean drop it.. but still the performance is still great.. ^~^

If you already rooted a Samsung device you don't need to watch the video but you have the CF auto root in the description. Even though my s3 is broken now it worked for me so good luck:)

I have this phone and hated it on its stock firmware at 4.3 JellyBean. I rooted and flashed an S7edge rom which made it a lot faster and its battery life better.

jovan3126, 06 Mar 2017how did you update this phone? link pls... thank you in advanceGo to XDA-Developers and learn how to root the S3 (only way you can update this device now). Install TWRP recovery and a custom rom, I have LineageOS 7.1.1 Nougat (they still manage/update this rom weekly) on my S3 and it works great! OctOS rom is good too and also Nougat 7.1.1, both roms have no bloatware, have tweaks/customization's, improves battery and makes phone smoother and faster.

i've had this phone for 2 years now i still really love it. The battery is kinda bad but it Works fine.
it would be nice if there was an update for android tho.

Mine is very laggy always stutter
It takes long to open Facebook
It takes about 5 minutes plus to open Google maps
It runs andoid 4.1.2

S3 is good. It only depends whether the unit you bought is original or fabricated.

Got given as birthday gift 3 nd 1/2 yr ago brand new but from start typed messages it wont show than seconds later it would type that message. Battery runs out very quickly replaced new no difference. Now cant even answer phone calls screen shaking up/down cuts off logging on something else it loads another thing. I'm fed up so looking for another phone tonight, only the camera was excellent couldn't play games either too slow gets stuck same place with broadband 2 ADSL no hope to improve.

'Afraid my 4 years experience with this phone hasn't been as good as yours guys. It's got great potentials, alaways believed that, but it's been a nightmare since Day 1 and even more so now, 4 years later. It is painfully slow despite the factory reset and the very few apps I left in it. I got rid of Samsung launcher and installed Nova instead: little improvement there.
I am no IT expert so I'd really like to ask any of you what's the easiest procedure I can follow to have this phone finally working. I read here and elsewhere that by changing firmware (can you give me any idiot-proof hint on that??) or installing I can't recall what (after factory reset it) it kind of comes to life again.
Help!!
