Also, is there a pc companion software which has a step-by-step installation for a first time samsung owner? Because i always update my phone through my usb, not wirelessly..
I used to own a sony phone before and they had this software called sony update service...does samsung have any similar software?

My new S3 is on 4.1.2 only... morejust booth your phone into (Android system recover mode)
wipe your cache partition, so no old files in it can cause conflicts.
then stair your phone up as normal and do the 4.3 update.
must bugs people get after and update happens when old files left back on the cache partition some how get installed by the new OS after the ROM update.

Bought it yesterday. Flawless phone. Sound quality? Mind blowing! Battery! I don't know about others but i played many games, listened to songs for long hours, even played some videos and it has performed excellently..
Superb touch and speed! Has everything an android smartphone should have!
