-It has never went for repair, hardware & software still intact....(Currently running a custom rom)
-Still using the same battery it came with from the box.
-Running android Nougat 7.1.1_r6 RR 5.8.0 (17 Dec-16)
Great Performance
-On gaming (Asphalt 8, GTA SA, Stranger Oddworld, NFS MW, Morden Combat 4 + 5, PPSSPP etc) it doesn't have any lags while playing any of these & more.
-Multitasking (+ / - Split screen) on social networks is just flawless.
-Editing on Photo Director, Photoshop Touch, VideoShow is a walk in the part.
-Converting/Compressing videos to other formats & output rendering/buffering is a breeze.
-Creating 1hour+ live record mixes on Cross Dj goes perfect & there's no cuts, glitches when previewing the mixes.
-Good Battery life
Test done=
23:17 battery was 100% (Removed charger, turned off data, switched to 2G & slept)
9:06am = 97% remaining when I picked it up the next day.
-Perfect sound (due to Boeffla Kernel sound + V4Arise + Dolby Atmos Port)
Lastly the device's durability comes in as a bonus.

This Is a great phone.
Great screen
Great size
Superb camera
why pay hundreds of pounds for the latest phone when this is still a good and capable phone.
Check auction sites and pick up a barain.
Best phone I have had.........go on buy one...

My S3 is 4.5 yrs old and haven't gone to service center once. Only changed to new batteries thrice. Going for 5!

A great phone but not for 2016, I think S3 is not worth it anymore, there are tons of samsung smartphones out there at the same price with better perfomance and battery! I had a quite great experience with this phone at the past 2 years using, not worth to buy now, this phone was good at the period of 2012-2016 now it gets boring because of the low specs and old Android OS

I received a Samsung Galaxy III in June 2016 to replace an ACE3 which stopped working - today I purchased a Samsung Galaxy J1 mini as I had to go back to the shop for the second fix-up - The S3 lasted 2 months then 3 months and when I asked for advice I was told it would be better to just buy a new phone as this one wasn't going to get any better. Has anybody else had this problem - the battery won't charge, even enough to turn on to retrieve photos.

The hardware does struggle to keep up from time to time, but its still a major improvement over the stock touchwiz-infested android it originally had.

Restart it
or simply turn it to recovery mode by pressing power botton volum up and menu key
and reboot it

my phone work great but two days before it suddenly change to safe mode... I not idea of it... send to handphone shop they help me to clean it up.. but today the same problem appear... my phone in safe mode again.. my whatapp and wechat icon gone.. how to deal with it？ Help。。。
