i am facing a problem with S3 lcd. lcd have a light dark large call making sign on middle of screen that more visible when white background is used. any one face this issue..???

Dinesh, 25 Jan 2014Thanks. I have same version. Is it heating up while brows... moreYes,but it's not a problem,every smartphone has been heating, i think s3 is not so over heat like other smartphones. In Android 4.3 Battery drains so quickly that is the problem.

somebody check this to the computer but they cannot read the problem or cannot connect for repair

I got update 4.3 from samsung kies in pc...
looks fast in processor than 4.1.2 and lot new apps
20 more contact added when send a msgs.
but in, battery is not good
and i hate the new lock screen...
when i slide in upper screen, it always scroll down the screen...
can anyone tried a custom rom in good & stable in battery.?

ake, 29 Jan 2014I did as u told. bt it isn't useful.. Please give a solutionHave you tried remove account option and then logged in again?.
If yes, check each and every contact whether if any of them are stored under the same name (duplicate entries). If it is not stored as duplicate entries, take a backup of PHONE contacts* only. For this, go to contacts --> contacts to display --> choose only device. Then take backup. Delete all the contacts. Uninstall the whatsapp. Then restore it. Then install the whatsapp and login. Exit the app by pressing the return key.
Follow the steps (syncing) that I have said before. Then open whatsapp and see.
If nothing helps, you have to take backup of all data (stored in the phone memory) and do factory reset. Then restore and check. Do this as a last chance.
* means the contacts stored only in the phone memory (not google contacts etc).
