But for S3, I heard after upgraded to Indian JB 4.3 firmware the battery is much better. But you can get S3 original extended battery 3000 mAh if you want more power.
Do not buy Grand Quatro. Althogh it use quad core, but it was slower than dual core cortex a9 and above. Dont simply judge by the name of qualcomm snapdragon. Great name doesn't mean the made product was good. The best processor from them have '...Krait..' name .

Xperia ZR is excellent in term of camera and it is also a waterproof and dust fee device. It is good enough for you if you love photography and like playing with your phone while swimming in a pool. You can wash your phone if you want without any worry demaging it. It also has Bravia Engine 2 display, but I dont't know if you will turn the function off due to save some juice .
Go for Grand Duos if you want dual sim capable phone. But I afraid you found the very low resolution and the TFT display will not entertain your view. Therefore I suggest Lenovo P780 as the substitute. It has the same screen size, but with half HD resolution IPS LCD display. The best is it has nobody-will-resist 4000mAH monstrous battery. And it was lower in price than Galaxy Grand.
Grand Quatro is a totally no-no. It sucks, believe me.
S3 is the last, last year flagship model but still relevant today. Furthermore, the Mama Samsung lovely boyz status is not being lifted yet. So Samsung still care about it and S3 will receive updates from Samsung. S3 has better camera compared to Grand or Mega camera and awesome HD AMOLED display that give you the best contrast among them all. The 4.8 inch screen is not too big and not too small. Just perfect for a device called smartphone.
Hope my reply here is rather useful to you instead of others that tried to influence you into buying their choice. Do remember it was your hard earn money that you use, not others. Choose wisely and you will not regret. I recomend you to do surveys and play-play first with all those devices you were troubled so to choose.

i update my s3 but wifi is not working properly. each time i have to connect wifi from setting. 4.3 jelly bean also such more battery than 4.1 jellybean.how to fix these issue??

@maxpower dont update 4.3 othwise ur phone will become lock ...region lock upgrade by samsung securiry ...and then u nid bulgaria sim call 5min to unlock..so dont update

My S3 is from Bulgaria, I'm in Canada. I've tried checking for the 4.3 Update over the air & it says there's none avaliable which I know is not true. I tried Kies but it says my Firmware is not recognized. So my only choice is through Sammobile but I'm seeing 4 different codes for Bulgaria. I'm seeing VVT, BGL, GBL & MTL. Does it matter which one I flash? I believe the VVT & MTL are carriers, mine came unlocked.
Here's some info on my S3
AP: I9300XXBLH1
CP: I9300BULG2
CSC: I9300EURBLH1
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

i suggest u grand 2 best fone
and s3 now old but if u want future update then go for it othwise grand 2 gud phone

ok after review battery backup is not gud on 4.3 ...far better battery backup on old android 4.1.2 anyway ..i hope samsung will make some small patch to improve battery backup later over and all good update only battery drain sux
