I m s3 user since 8 month i found an issue in all s3
I.e upper mic not activates at the time of speakerphone featurs check it by closing the mic individually by finger
it is written in users manual page no. 12and13 but it working in all other models like s2 note2 note3 s4
Vedio recording stereo sound interchanged during playback .
Please check and ask to resolv by service center and complain to custumer support

Your apps data and settings remains (mostly) unchanged.
Battery seems to drain a bit faster. I am used to getting 2 days out of it with some video playback+facebook+net browsing. Now, on 4.3, maybe a day and a half. I really don't see anything new as far as UI smoothness interface is concerned. On the contrary, it lags a little in the call log scrolling. Some things are "cured", though. For instance, the UI used to give me a crash (on 4.1.2) when I tried to remove app schortcuts from the lockscreen. Not anymore in 4.3.

After 4.3 update...
Performance is better
Battery life is same as before
Move to sd card option now available
Transparent status bar
Lock screen is lagging a bit
Most of the ram is occupied
S4 weather widget should have been added
No heating issues at all
Overall a good upgrade
Highly recommended

Post 4.3 Upgrade Observations:
Good ->
- Overall experience is smoother and tad quicker.
- Minor UI changes
Bad ->
- Battery drains out in 4-5 hours now as compared to on 4.1.2 where it used to run over 24 hrs easily.
- SD Card reading error
- Phone heats up a lot on standby
I am open to suggestions from folks who may have found acceptable workarounds to resolve those issues.

Call log has improved spclly ur sync with FB will make contact pic more crisp & clear..but contact log takes time to open & nothing much improvemnt wise only screen has widen till notification screen

From Bangalore(INDIA).Updated to jelly Bean 4.3 through kies software. If you try to update from mobile, it shows latest software already installed.
So connect your mobile to laptop/computer and update it to android 4.3.

Updated to 4.3, device is much faster and menus are like ones in S4. Everything is good, but my device heats up when I'm connected to Wifi. Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Updated yesterday. Battery also fine (24hrs +). Phone book lag is still there, comparatively less though. 5 hrs continuous "Subway Suf" with lowest brightness (started at 78% battery), battery came down to 12%.
Performance is good.
UI changes are nice.
Yet to check AT+ and Gear compatibility.
Disabled S-Voice, ChatOn, Flipboard, exchangeService, samsung app store, hangout and Play Service
