so if that's what was stopping you, it's really a none issue. Go buy your phone.

i have s3 and i upgrade that up to 4.3 (officially) now the major problem with my mobile is battery back up with drains totally in 3 to 3.30 hours ……………..did not know what to do please help me ….. is it common issue ? i should return to 4.1?

enjoying kit kat in , 28 Nov 2013I am sure Samsung will take another five months to update s... morePlus it heavy themed in white rather than black and blue combination like in previous android versions ..which is a major drawback for amoled screens...of course siii is amoled..my doubt is the theme is the real culprit for relatively less battery backup..but I love the simple ui in 4.4...plus integrsting messages.. Hangout...gtalk everything into a single app..plus locating the unknown number from which location they are calling...as of now rom is almost stable

I am sure Samsung will take another five months to update siii to android 4.4. I don't wanna wait till that..plus I hate memory hungry touchwiz...so I had flashed android 4.4 cyanogenmod 11 temasek ..it so awesome... Only drawback is it gives two hours lesser backup than samsung stock ROM..but my phones doesn't lag anymore..its smoother than a nexus phone.

Even octacore S4 lags a lot sometimes.Why don't they fix the software issues with 4.3 on S3 rather than releasing more garbage.Now a days Samsung is only thinking about their business to earn more income & never thinking about the user.Every smartphone company has issues, even Apple, but they get it sorted quick-smart, not leave customers sitting with useless phones for weeks.

But even with a quad core it does lag.
But how you perceive that lag is relative.
Compeered to the phones you called its going to seem smooth
But I have done a basic side by side with a guy in my office that has a HTC One X
And hands down the HTC was more responsive. We are not games, I’m not talking about that kind of response time.

My very first Android Phone was the Samsung Galaxy Y, followed by the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 and then eventually to this beast, the Samsung Galaxy S3. I used to be a avid Nokia fan, anything from Nokia I wanted and then all of that changed when I saw a friend playing a game on his Samsung Galaxy 5. That's where it all started. I tried sticking with Nokia, but then realize that the applications on Nokia (Java and Symbian) were kinda, limited. So I made the jump to Samsung and I was blown away by the vast things Android could do. Oh, back to the review. Since this is my opinion, i'll spill all the beans on my experience with the S3. In terms of Size, it's alright, after I got used to it, going back to smaller screens felt weird. I felt comfortable with the screen and Size. In terms of speed, since its running on Quad Core, damn it's impressive. Can do a bunch of stuff on it. I guess when people give in comments that their S3 lags, you might wanna check what you install on it. If you put a bunch of games, music and videos on it. Surely it would lag. So just watch for what you install on your S3. I'm an I.T Guy here in my company and get a lot of complains about lags and random freezes on their S3's, they take my word and leave happy. Now going to it's Camera, 8MP is enough for me. I longboard and I use my S3 to take a bunch of videos, and the output is alright. Some people are satisfied, so I either tell them to upgrade to a new phone or buy a DSLR Camera. So far my S3 Experience is somewhat alright. It's just the constant change of date with the updates, I mean come on. A lot of people are expecting for Samsung to update the S3's Firmware, and we get disappointed on the delay. Samsung, this comment is directly aiming at you: "Have you forgotten about your FLAGSHIP device?"
